Red Dead Redemption II, in my opinion, may very well be the final epic story our civilisation ever told. Everything, from the respect it showed the characters, the lore, the world and the story was all but perfection. Especially the care it showed of nature. I am honestly convinced that the ability to do this is almost entirely lost to us, thanks to the industrialisation and computerisation of our lives and minds. It’s man, so in love with greed that he has forgotten himself, and found only appetites. This place, ain’t no such thing as civilised. You can’t fight change. You can’t fight nature. You can’t fight gravity. Our time is pretty much over.

I specifically enjoy the jabs the took at the Catholic Church. You know, all the pagan stuff. You know or you don’t, it’s deeper than you think. Anyway, best game ever.

Personally, I would gladly welcome any and all rockstar projects, including gta 6, being podtponed for as long as what I am about to describe takes. Red dead redemption 2 with all its cut content restored, the story restored to it's original ambitious scope, all cut locations restored, Mexico reincorporated, full guarma returned, all the cut locations in Ambarino and New Hanover reincluded, cut npcs, cut animals, all unpolished aspects now polished and John's story (John shall have his proper model and animations) continuing as it did in rdr1 in rdr 2s engine, and we end up with Jack in 1914, a western epic. That would truly be a piece of history contained within a game.

Does rockstar themselves didn't notice what they had made or they are in such greediness that they don't care about their playerbase. Yes RDR2 wasn't the most or the 2nd,3rd most profitable game in the world but it was still in top 10. They can't just make a masterpiece and leave it to dust and buried in history. If they had even spent HALF the time they spent on GTA online updates I am sure this game would have been one of the most popular in the world. They just are getting money from GTA so they just care about Gta.
