Hey i think i have an idea for making it gas mask capable. Youve seen the powered gas filters? You wear it on your waist it takes 2 filters and it has a hose that connects to the mask. It pumps the air too you so it could be used to push the humidity out of the helmet. Make your helmet have postive pressure so as long as as its powered your getting fresh clean air.
@Summserious6 жыл бұрын

Tho any modifications for full chemical and gas filtering system may most likely result in requiring a alt. version of the mask with different vent system along with the masks needing to have a mask to face and the locking system of the two parts to have a seal, so the mask could have air tight seal keeping the the unfiltered air out. Weather it’s modifying the mask so a filtering system can be added through the plate or a model to where the there’s a attachment allowing the air to be filtered inhaling the clean air and the mask filtering out the exhaled air. Either witch way or whatever way you go about it the thing stays the same for mask to truly capable of taking on gas or chemicals it must have a full air tight seal. But man I love what your mask I love the design. It’s amazing.

Also, I wish I could have myself one of these helmets made ready for the road, for I think devtag just entered a market they'll need to fully develop on every part of the armed forces(even motorcycle divisions)

Is there currently or planned to be any ability to mount a perscription lense inside the helmet? Some service members or members of law enforcement require perscription eyeware. At the present time some of the leading ballistic eyeware competitors contracted with military(for example) have added mounts for adding perscription lenses behind the ballistic lens.

Wouldn't you want second-phase training-helmets to be heaver then the 'real' helmets so that the 'real' helmets feel light when training is over and the 'real' helmets are issued? Also, how does this helmet work with eye-glasses? Can they fit under the helmet, or do you have eye-glass inserts? Seems like a solid product, only concern is how easily the lenses pop in and out; do they also offer lvl 1/2A protection? Cause something that seems to pop out almost effortlessly is a major issue on a "bulletproof" helmet. Been following y'all for 2+years keep up the good work. I see a big military contracts in y'alls future.
@evanvandenberg22606 жыл бұрын
There is virtually no such thing as level 1 or up protection for the eyes. What is given to the military are usually for fragmentation. Some higher end eye protection can resist shotgun pellets. This make sense if we consider ballistic glass is generally an inch or more thick. If you know of an exception please share, I’d love to be wrong on this.
@southernironworker6 жыл бұрын
@@evanvandenberg2260 I know of a few companies that are ansi certified in ppe that claim they can withstand a 22lr that are only about an 8th of inch thick. I figured if that's available for ppe in the work place the military would have something more advanced.
@southernironworker6 жыл бұрын
@@evanvandenberg2260 Side note, have you seen the one way bulletproof glass? It's some pretty neat stuff.
@evanvandenberg22606 жыл бұрын
southernironworker I checked out that one way glass, very interesting stuff! What are the companies with the thin 22LR resistant PPE? Struggling to find them. I’ve been thinking that the design of this helmet should have instead used the lenses from an existing product with replaceable lenses(though that may introduce other issues). Honestly helmets like these are so interesting and with 3d printing, one could easily make the shaping moulds for a helmet, then just form carbon fibre and/or kevlar panels around this. The real issues come in with mounting systems and dissipating the force so the person doesn’t snap their neck.

Your website is down or unavailable for sone reason. I am extremely interested in the ronin but all I can find is cheap Chinese knock offs. I dont need actual ballistic plates, i just would like the basic helmet that is functionally the same as the full ballistic without ballistic protection but with the ability to up armor in the future.
@sergioortega58692 жыл бұрын
look I like your masks but I don't know if it's for disguise or for bulletproof protection because if it's bulletproof it has many weak points where a warhead can enter and the first point are the eyes and air slots to reduce weight you should put in the eyes and screens like the ones shown by airoman in this way it is no longer necessary to use extra equipment that makes your mask heavier the ventilation must come from behind like the fish and the mouth must be isolated from the entire mask so that inside does not mists with your breath

You need to impliment protection for the back of the skull this is a massive flaw in your mask in my opinion, i cant see why it would be hard to make up an adjustable back brace to apply panels or have back panels fixed. If you look at most military helmets they have protection covering the back of the head, its a need to stop a bullet from something not visible from the front.

Kevin Ruiz Depends on how much you value your head/face? I’d rather have an “overpriced” helmet (as long as it works as advertised) than save a bunch of money on a cheaper helmet that *may* fail to protect as well Perhaps this is the Mercedes of helmets? Someone could save the money and get the Hyundai of Head/face protection, but I don’t think I’d ever get the Hyundai of cars, let alone of face/head protection (if I had the money for either... which I do not) Not saying that anything less than $1,400 isn’t gonna function as well, but I haven’t found many full-head ballistic helmets out there (plenty of non-ballistic versions though) My only concerns with this helmet may come down to the magnetic cheek covers... if they are that easily removed, would they be likely to pop off if hit by rounds/debris/shrapnel at various angles? Also the battery life for the lense fans and ventilation system leave a bit to be desired as well, but how often do most people need to be running such systems for multiple hours straight I guess?
