YES! I've loved music all my life. Remember favorite songs from way back. But as I found out after one of the founding members of KISS, the music teacher at my school asked me to try out for our HS ROCK BAND. One of the 2 songs was Old Time Rock and roll, Bob Seger and I used my parents copy of Live Bullet when I practiced prior. Day of, the Drummer and I drank a couple bottles of Wild Irish Rose 🤢 then I proceeded to sing the entire song in the wrong key. 😆 I had no idea and that kinda killed my Rockstar aspirations so I never took any music courses in college but wish I had. It's truly my first love and the love will always be there. Yet like most of the relationships with women I've had in my 50+years I have NO IDEA what's really going on, just know I like it. RICK is slowly changing that. So THANKFUL he popped up and has been a part of my day since

In “Judith,” vocalist Maynard James Keenan is addressing his mother Judith Marie Keenan, who suffered a stroke and was restricted to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Judith died in 2003, three years after the release of Mer de Noms. Following her death, he scattered her ashes across one of his vineyards and named one of his wines after her, honoring her memory with his Cabernet Sauvignon, Nagual del Judith. A nagual is a protective deity in form of a plant or an animal.

and thats all without delving into the lyrics of the song! which is a whole other reason why its amazing! even though its very anti christian, its great because as a christian myself i often have the same kind of questions, just in a different context i guess

Judith was Maynard's mother that while dying of cancer, never lost her faith in God, and Maynard couldn't understand her not being angry or feeling let down by having to suffer with cancer. In later years, he came to understand her feelings and faith and wrote several songs addressing this.

Maynerd Is actually very Christian himself, People just assume he isn't because of some of his lyrics, taking them @ face value instead of doing any sort of research.

Anthony Hernandez "Its not anti Christian" Maynard: "Fuck your god, your Lord your Christ" "Praise the one who left you broken down and paralyzed" "Oh so many ways for me to show you how your Dogma has abandoned you"

Clayton Kent Maynard* is not Christian at all. He is very anti organized religion. While he says he's spiritual, he doesn't associate with a religion. Don't try to push your own religion and lie about what you clearly don't understand
