Love how this began with anthropology & psychology and ended as a call to arms! (or, the #ArtisanSoul equivalent: a "call to tools"?) This is a Human Manifesto.

We as human beings have seemingly unlimited potential until something unfortunate happens and then we must adapt which naturally gives us more potential. We are the personification of potential. Whatever it is that we are good at and can survive from will be our destiny until an unfortunate event which will subsequently cause us to adapt as individuals in order to survive. We are the ultimate survivors. We are god like.

Such a powerful ending! Majority of the creations are helpful to humankind but not very much to the environment and other animals that live in their ecosystems. We are depleting so much of the earth resources than earth can replenish and it's very unfortunate where this is all is going. It's true we all have a responsibility and have to take action one way or another to the best of our ability that'll be beneficial to our environment. Whether that's spending less time in shower to conserve water, taking public transportation or eating less meat or simple as recycling. It may be small but if we all do something small it will add up although cannot undo the harm we have done to our environment, the forests we have destroyed, the water we have polluted but at least we will reduces our footprint.

He is an excellent speaker, and this is a much needed message in our world today. As globalization continues to being a force for efficiency and conformity in the world, we must never forget these important implicitly human traits we have.

Twas a great speech but I was somewhat disappointed with the entire event. There were a lot of motivational speakers, which is great, but from the description of the event it sounded like we were going to hear people talk about what life is actually going to be like in 2020. Along the lines of new technologies and research being present in 2020.

This is insane. I was raised under good Bible preaching. Nothing this guy said is a new revelation to me. From the comments it must be to many others. It’s like he takes the most basic ideas, teachings, precepts, facts, truths, observations…that are all taught in the Bible…and turns them into a motivational talk…without ever mentioning THE CREATOR, His gift to us, AND OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HIM.
