I work at a bar. And as a couple was about to leave they said "let's have 1 more beer before we go" I serve them each a beer. Notice they are drinking fast (I'm thinking they must have somewhere to go and wanted 2-3 beers each and only had a short time) husband says to wife after finishing "one more??" Wife says "nooo we have to get back to the kids, I watch them leave and notice that there was 5 kids in the minivan"

I happen to know someone who ALWAYS gets dirty looks and comments about their weight if they use one, but their pain is so severe due to multiple spinal cord tumors causing nerve pain (arms, hips, back, legs, fingers, toes, etc) that they're having difficulty doing their physical therapy. Now they don't leave the house bc they can no longer use the walker bc they don't want people to be mean to them. FFS people, PLEASE just mind your own damn business if they're not hurting you personally with their actions!

I agree. I suffer from invisible disabilities. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, degenerative disk disease, chronic migraines, spinal headaches, depression and anxiety and eating disorders off and on since teens. Iam not over weight and tend to be on the thin side and because I look pretty normal and don’t have a wheelchair or scooter or walker tob get around that when iam having a flare up of pain and need to sit in front seats of bus and get dirty looks , I only sit there when iam in severe pain from flare up. People just need to mind there own business

In the builders' merchant where I work, the latest craze is 'relay shopping': guys too stupid, or 'manly' to get a trolley, get a couple of items at a time, and stack them near the tills, while they go to get something else. Then they struggle to get them through the till, and ask 'ok if I leave this here for a while?' No, arsehole, it really isn't. If it's quiet, and they haven't paid yet, we rush to get their piles back onto the racks. If it's busy, we still take a moment to grab some items to hide. Some are so stupid that no amount of saying 'don't do that' doesn't help.

This little boy was the cutest and sweetest, I have him stickers and he gave me the biggest smile. I told the mother, "your boy is so adorable." I shit you not, she smiled and said, "oh yeah thanks. He's my r*pe baby." I stopped in my tracks and said "Excuse me?" She smiled again and said "I was r*ped and he's the result. " This boy has no idea what his mother was saying but the fact she still said it in front of him, I was FURIOUS. Is this something she says to everyone? Even to a cashier like me? This is the label she gave her son? Even her friend was surprised.

Warning! Horrible animal abuse! BUT, there is a just ending, just hold on. My ex-wife use to work for a petting zoo, when we visited her farm for the first time, we find horses, sheep, bunnies, ducks, geese, fucking everything. She only fed cared for were her animals and brought with on the road for work. Petting zoo wasn't held at farm. All the others left at home were so emaciated from dehydration, thin, and starved , you could see every bone in the horses, sheep feeding on the dead one, animals that DID have water had ropes tied around their necks so short they couldn't reach water. Bunnies and ferrets dead in cages rotted and molded to the cage floor. And also....a 2 year child in his crib, couldn't speak or walk from neglect. I can go on for pages. Here's the only good thing about that day. We filled up water, food to give us time while we stole almost every animal that we could fit in our car in 3 or 4 trips. Brought home sheep, ducks, geese, the only goat she had, only puppy, bunnies, and we went to all the friendly farms we knew, also vets and their techs. We got them all homes. We kept the puppy and goat, called cops about the child and both cases of neglect. People came for the child and horses. When we got home we got a message from the zoo lady and my wife got fired. Easiest firing she ever took. That bitch zoo lady got investigated and I'm sure she took a financial hit and visits from cps. I despise abusers and careless parents. Ugh!!!!

@@locutusofborg47AT Yes. I don't like Insurrection either. But for me, Nemesis is the worst example of a mode of thinking that comes from Wrath of Khan. The toxic idea is, "We need a villain that has enough force of will and charisma that he or she can be a worthy opponent to Picard, y'know, we need another Khan." Why does a Star Trek movie need to have a plot like that every damn time? It's like Godzilla vs King Kong, Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla vs The Smog Monster, etc. Same plot every time. The way it failed with Nemesis is that Tom Hardy tried hard, I guess, but I found his character weak and not really a threat. I like Hardy in lots of other movies, but he's terrible in this one. Why couldn't they just do a really good science-based adventure plot instead?

I always noticed the similarities to Wrath of Khan, but just kind of laughed them off because I knew the movie was bad going in. But I don’t think I’ve ever really thought about how weak of a villain Shinzon really is until right now. It’s kind of like something I noticed subconsciously, but never really thought about until someone straight up said it. I think part of why I’ve never really hated the movie though, is because I went into it knowing that it wasn’t the sendoff that Picard and the others deserved, but it’s actually a lot worse than I’ve given it credit for. They really should’ve done a more character driven story for the crew’s farewell. Something that really felt like “one last adventure”. And they definitely should’ve found a better way to kill Data (or, better yet, not kill him at all land just say that they were able to recreate the aging program from “Inheritance”). The writers really just did not think about what they were doing with this one and just went with the option of cheap action instead of coming up with a well thought out story (though, to be honest, I don’t think we ever would have gotten a good send off for the characters anyway because the director that Paramount demanded be hired for the movie literally didn’t even like Star Trek and refused multiple times to even watch it, and he clearly had some stuff against Worf, Geordi and Beverly).
