I think a good characteristic any man would look for at first is maturity, some fit a younger approach, but a wife maybe to be a grown-up serious woman, knowing all the corners and about life, not trying to be someone that she isn't, intending to save but not at the cost of quality, but aiming for the middle golden route in life. Personal hygiene is important, but don't just think about being clean outside, but also intellectual hygiene or the people she surrounds herself with is important, is she an independent thinker or will she be driven by random emotions or friends, or do you have to put everything into her mouth and mind because she is unsure of what she wants and when she decides otherwise she will blame you for everything she agreed on to you? Cleanliness is also very important around the house; shopping and knowing how to cook are pros, but a real man should also know how to do all of that around and inside the house; after all, she isn't a slave. Liking cats is a good thing too, or dogs, children. And, I go further I think a real woman wouldn't be ashamed of asking her boyfriend to be her partner for the rest of her life. Because, believe it or not, men are often unsure about their girlfriends, and that is why they don't ask for her hand. They don't want to put her in that awkward position where she says yes but doesn't mean to, but I also know that some men would and will bully their woman into marriage by asking for her hand before a family or where she is likely to be afraid of saying no, which isn't nice after all that is rude, and disrespectful too. But the best question you wanna ask her before you do anything is this; What do you think you know? And, her answer will tell you everything you need to know; it will tell you what hierarchy model she is domesticated for and what level she thinks you are. I've been married, and looking back, this is the one thing I somehow missed before agreeing to it with her; I forgot to ask her this question.

I haven't listened to one second of this video, but I am ALWAYS leery when women tell people what men are looking for. Here's what men are looking for in modern women. PURITY, which is almost non-existent, LOYALTY, respect, beauty, femininity, and a supportive partner. Someone who won't quit because the "tingles" and "butterflies" aren't there after a decade.

@TR-qr9hs I agree. Marriage is a union, and not a dis-service to either party. One does not submit to, and serve the other. If they are to submit, it is to submit to an equal union. All other systems are not a true divine relationship. ✨️

A woman is to submit, in the name of love, respect, and obedience, but not to be a servant. To be an equal extension, of the husband, and not as a submissive, or ever to be taken as less than the husband. I hope this clarifies. The woman, is just as divine, as the man. Stand in that truth, and always demand in return, the respect that is given..

Not me watching this at 6am while making bread with my two toddlers 😂 My marriage advice is to always be selfless, and put your partner above yourself. Never have a "me" attitude. When you have a servants heart towards your spouse, it always reaps benefits and grows the love between you. The more I love on and serve my husband, the more he enjoys me and loves to take care of me back. Teamates against the world together, and never enemies. Selfishness will absolutely kill a marriage.

All great points from Proverbs 31. I would add one perspective. Over the last 25 years I have seen so many married Christian women who go to one church and the husband goes to another church because they disagree on theology, denomination, how to interpret Scripture, and what have you. Look for a man who is fully persuaded in what he believes. His actions over time by serving in that church/denomination and teaching others what he believes will confirm he'll stay put and not diverge to another church or way of interpreting Scripture.

With your mom telling you “how much closer to God can you get?” or others their friends or family telling them “you’re doing a bit too much” or calling you something along the lines of “goody two shoes” or similar. It’s similar to Peter trying to “protect” Jesus and Jesus in Matthew 16:23 telling him “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”, the enemy can use our own friends and family to slow us down on our walk and make us feel like we’re doing too much. For some, it really fully holds them back from going any further.

Jesus and I go way back. No one can or will fill his shoes in my life. What I look for in a woman is that we have the same best friend in Jesus. Jesus is love. If she puts him first by following him, I have no worries about my woman and our passion for each other in life. Ang and Rrrr and those beautiful Christ followers in the GGB gang shine like a precious Ruby. I hope one day to find a woman passionate. Come as you are, just don't stay that way!!!!
