This is sooo true. I just returned from a trip around Europe after 33 days out of Romania, 6 countries and 4700 km on the bike and 700 with three ferrys. It was the longest trip so far, and I met so many people in so many places, and all of them are normal human beings, just like me and you and understand immediately that We were travelers not tourists. This is the difference that opens them and always try to hep with whatever you need. We are the same everywhere and traveling and living minimalistic off the bike teaches us the basics of survival, human interactions and humility in front of nature forces and beauty. The equations that we are forced to go into our heads, shape the mind in a different way than at home with all the daily stress and problems. the problems on the road are basic, healthy to solve them and as you said, the mind comes back clearer and more open, even if the body is exhausted and needs a few days of rest. I will always trade the shitty day to day problems for the ones you have while traveling. ;) stay safe and thank you for your approach of moto traveling in your videos. this is a hobby and life stile with no BS, and that's what I like the most about it.

I met one guy in the Alps, at the top on one of the passes, alone, sitting on a bench and losing his soul over the peaks. He said to me: this (the bike , a nice new Triumph, like a scrambler, expensive I suppose) is just "un ferro", just metal, the possibilities that it gives you actually matter. Local guy, enjoying his home mountains. ;)

Not only on long distance trips, its everyday!!! For 99% of the working days, i always take the long way home. From a 10km journey, end up a 40km plus journey. Riding on legal speed (Singapore is very strict on these) on the highway, mind cleared of all the rubbish i faced during the workday......and reached home with a smile. Love from Singapore!!! Riding a Tenere 700 too!!

I love your videos! I hope you enjoy every moment of your trip. I have traveled over 40,000 miles by motorcycle in the last three years. I’m 67 years of age and have congestive heart failure. Do I regret not doing these trips when I was younger and healthier? No I do not. The only thing that haunts me, is the time I didn’t spend with my kids when they were young and needed me the most. The motorcycle trips have been great fun and I’m hooked, but if I had died younger and never got to experience motorcycle travel, it would have been okay. Not being there for my kids would not have been okay. From the vantage point I’m at now, looking back at my life. I know my life was important, but it wasn’t actually about me. ❤

Motorcycle trips give me sheer pleasure and they cleanse my mind from the crap I've collected in my everyday life. At times I'm almost in a state of meditation while riding. I'll start my next trip this friday. 2 weeks with a tent through France, Northern Spain, perhaps Andorra and Switzerland. Should be between 4 and 5000 kms....

Just returned from a 7500+ mile trip. When I got home people were of course curious about my trip and wanted to know of the different places I visited. Most of my stories are not of the places Ive been..........they were of the people I met. By far the highlights of my trip were the people! And it is different than being in a car, on a bike people tend to come up to you and start talking.......they wont do that if you're in a car. Also, when I got home I just didnt feel right, I felt like a stranger in my own home. Its taken me several weeks to get back to "normal". In that several weeks Ive spent most of that time planning my next motorcycle trip :)🏍🏍

Pavlin, how do you say? "The most suitable motorcycle for the trip is the motorcycle you have", and of course you are right. According to the same logic, it is possible to go for a very long trip without a motorcycle at all, by walking and hitchhike. Go on a journey with a car, or a jeep, or an open vehicle...it's all the same like the other ways: Aperson looking for adventure. To go on a very long journey at cccp at war is a very strong statement about how you perceive the object called "adventure". For some people, going to the supermarket feels the same. It's all very personal, for example: Even choosing to watch your fascinating channel, it says nothing about the viewer's habits or desires or dreams.

As a car driver, I agree. While a car is an excellent traveling tool, I mainly use it for shuttling between the points of interest. My main travelling happens at the destination, where I hike, sightsee or cycle. The car I only use to get between the cities, without stopping along the way because it's too inconvenient (parking spaces are rare, it takes too long to settle on a spot, often it's illegal or needs payment or approval). My traveling most similar to Pavlin's (exploring and taking dirt paths) is by bicycle, but the distances are much shorter and more physically demanding. I have to take days off every second day or even more, according to my watch.

One get's a bad case of rabbit feet. You can suppress it for a short period of time but the feels comes and there is only one thing to do. Load up the bike and hit the road. It's the greatest educational experience you can have. Yes, you will learn about people and places around the world. You will learn people are just people trying to get by one day to another. The same all over. No different than yourself. However you will learn much more about yourself. There's a lot of time to think. Try it. You too will develop an case of rabbit feet. Twist the grip Pavlin. Safe travels. Good vid.

Have you ever tried skydiving, it is very interesting and you have a feeling of freedom and calm when you reach the ground in one piece. The only problem for me is the level of anxiety before jumping It gets to be a bit too much. I'm also interested in paramotoring, it's something I can do here on my beach and fly through the air and land on the beach in the same place. but I haven't taken the paramotor course yet. I plan to do my first motorcycle trip this year but I am not a person that likes to meet other people so I believe in all that you said except that part in what concerns me, unless it is other motorcyclists. I really get the feeling that this year is the one that I'm going to do my first trip, I bought a few things, I mean essential things for the trip, I got the will, and I got the time so I'm guessing after 40 years of riding motorcycles this is going to be the year that I'm going to do my first trip.

O sei in pensione?

Previously I would agree with you, but your current trip showed that you are hypocrite. You always have talked about how you need to respect people and situation - different nations, different religions and so on. However the disrespect that you showed by illegally entering Ukrainian territory, telling all the "there is no war" and "Mariupol is doing great" and all the love you have for a country that is responsible for all of the blood and pain, left no respect for you. I really loved and enjoyed every single video you made and paid attention to every suggestion you told. But now it is worth nothing. You are 0 for me now.
