These fake concerns by these platforms like insta FB and YTube have no problem allowing other people to use our reels and shorts without permissions. To this day, there is no opt out for using my audio from my YTshorts. I create original music and other specific content using my voice with purpose that I don’t want being used as a voiceover to mock someone or enhance someone else’s random post nor do i want it replicated by their new AI. The hypocrisy of these companies is disgusting. I am fairly new to the twitch/streaming world and want to do this right. I figured that covers would be like a live performance at a bar, but those use set lists and blanket licenses for the PROs to track and collect for the songwriters.

so as a streamer. i want an avatar. i have to pay some one to make one for me. if i want a banner im suppose to pay someone to create it. same thing with logos, intros, outros, then opening music, closing music, or if i want to stream music from a service i have to pay a subscription model to access music that is not licensed. or is licensed and is licensed out to me. then if i want an editor i would have to make that too. man the world has really gone to shit. i went to twitch to stream even kick for a bit and all i get is people wanting to make stuff for profit. then i have to explain i do streaming for fun. i make no money. im taking my time to do something for entertainment that i could be giving my children/wife/family. also i just checked epidemic sounds and subscription models are pretty close to spotify $9.99 lowest package. while just a couple dollars more for spotify it also comes with a hulu subscription that is worth $7.99 by itself. also i checked the sample music from epidemic sounds and all the songs that can be previewed on the front page is all on spotify. i also tried to use NCS lists on spotify that does not work. because somewhere out there a song gets licensed and your video will be muted for a duration or might result in a strike. so i dont see how paying for this service gives you the ability to play music. oh and on another note twitch released a music service for a while i got to test that out. it had some decent tunes on there found some bands i really like. but if i brought it over to youtube. youtube would copyright me immediately so i dont know how paying for a service would keep you from getting muted unless it only for 1 stream platform

@@LASCurryactually the way this works is, kick as a company handles it as BMI and ascap comes through so these copyright claims will never happen therefore it’s not illegal and it is safe. Twitch is different because they’re too cheep to pay the toll. But good message though

Remember: You have access only when your subscription is up to date and current with Epidemic Sounds. When You download a track and end your subscription you will get flagged if you link it with your youtube videos.
