If the Muslim countries can ban the bikini and enforce a hijab dress code, why can’t France ban religious symbols that go against French values and enforce their own dress code?

You have 5m+ people in France. If you think doing that is beneficial then you are wrong. Muslims are sett to become 40% of France’s population by 2070-2100. If you want to start a Muslim revolution in France go ahead.

simple answer: France and the West must be consistent regarding how they apply their constitutional values of liberte (liberty) and freedom. Meaning that women can dress how they want. unless you want to forgo that liberte is a fundemental human right meaning that the government can potentially ban bikinis in public (which they should). While our muslim countries do not accept classical or modern liberalism or any form of utilitarianism or hedeonism. We are not very induvusualistic. Therefore, our constitution is not on the same basis as your's but based on the quran and the prophet tradition which makes up the bulk of shariah law. Meaningt that we can enforce dress codes!! You guys cannot even prove that classical liberalism is true from first principles!!

@@radirandom133 There are dress codes in the West as well. It is wrong to say that someone can just wear whatever they want in public. There are indecent exposure laws for example. The key is that whatever the government decides has to be applicable to all.

🧕🧔 Here are some things that Muslims are not allowed to do in France: 1⃣ Wear a niqab or burqa in public: In 2010, France became the first country in Europe to ban the wearing of full-face veils in public. This law was met with backlash from the Muslim community, who saw it as a violation of their religious freedom. 🚫🧕 2⃣ Pray in the streets: In 2011, the French government passed a law that prohibits public worship in the streets. This was a direct response to the growing number of Muslims praying in the streets due to the lack of mosque space. While the intention was to ease tensions, this law has been criticized for targeting the Muslim community. 🙏🏽🚫 3⃣ Serve halal food in schools: In 2020, the French government announced that schools will no longer be allowed to serve halal meals, claiming that it goes against the principle of secularism. This decision has caused outrage among Muslim parents and students, who argue that it is discriminatory and goes against their dietary restrictions. 🍗🚫

📜 The French government has a long history of secularism, with the principle of laïcité being deeply ingrained in its society. This means that religion and state affairs should be kept separate, and the French government has gone to great lengths to enforce this. In the name of preserving secularism, laws have been put in place that restrict certain practices and expressions of faith, particularly for the Muslim community. 🙏🏽🕌

Using the old worn out artifact argument really does not have any bearing on the choice of country people choose to live in. There are plenty of countries which have laws based on lots of different histories to choose to live in. To go to a country and demand they become part of another culture is ridiculous. If you accept the passport or visa you have agreed to accept the laws of that country. Full stop end of. Turn your point of view around and say both countries involved in the argument you make about making good harm done to each over the centuries, then at least there is room for discussion. Remember not everyone wants to live in a slave based society structured in the manner of those followed by the Mohamedians. At the end of the day the only people who really benefit from the current goings on are the rich and powerful of all sides, be it Secular or any of the Religions. Nothing is going to change the poor are going to remain poor on both sides - the rich are going to get richer no matter what the outcome of this current situation is. @@user-xu2qg2zf6u

The day my wife can walk into Mecca with uncovered hair and in shorts and halter, then we are "fair" from both sides. But it always seems the Muslims want to insist their way is the only way. In the West, our way should rule, as your ways rule in Arabia lands. To me, the Hijab represents Hamas, ISIS, Taliban, Islamic Republic, ... you know - those that kill women who don't want to cover their hair. And question - why so so many Muslim women not wear the head coverings? And don't want to. It obviously has nothing to do with the religion. Sorry, but that is how I feel.

@@LanielPhoto In Islam, Hijab is obligatory for Muslim women. And they should be allowed to wear it wherever they want. It's not about freedom, it's about modesty. A woman has the right to cover her entire body without you being able to see anything, but the same cannot be said for the opposite, because then the modesty level decreases. Why do you think women are so safe in Saudi and Afghanistan? Why does r@p3 happen so often in the US? Why do you want your wife to walk uncovered? Is it so that other men can see her? There are many examples of this such as Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan and Iraq. Even the current situation in Palestine is thanks to America and Europe. all of these invasions is the middleeast own fault Europe and America didnt just invade the middleeast for fun it happened for a reason. Iraq - Hussein "destruction weapons or not doesnt really matter since Iraq was still in need to replace him by force", Afghanistan - Taliban faced similar problems. That doesnt mean Europe are saints and didnt do anything wrong. But all the fights comes from inside. its naive to think all of it will change if foreign troops are pulled back home. @@ninofromkitchennightmares1497 listen, the scenarios unlikely but let's say it's true -if you chose to live in Europe, then you need to live like a European. Whatever country you decide to migrate to,, if you don't - you are an outsider. It gets boring listening to people who are outsiders call people who live in their native country racist due to the fact that the migrant might not want to integrate.. This can and lately has caused big problems -and especially if they get radicalized. The past few years in France has become even worse than 9/11. I think people are waking up. There's been more crazy violence in France from Muslim radicals - thatvis so extreme- it scares the native French Nobody has time to meet every single Muslim in the world and nobody wants to take any more chances- I seriously want to know why would you want to live in a country that doesn't put Islam first or even in second place, when you can go and live in a Islamic country and have no problems at all?? It doesn't matter if you helped fight in a war- all kinds of countries around the world help each other out with wars --etcetera.. IT DOESN'T MAKE ANYBODY SPECIAL!! We're talking about TODAY AND NOW ! There's too many crazy people out there for most of us to take a chance -we're sick of it!! Not to mention the FINANCIAL BURDEN many Muslims have become to every single country they immigrated to. With many times women forbidden to work and to keep having children and expecting their host country to pay for it!! How about if I came into your home practice Catholicism- ate pork, and expected YOU TO SUPPORT ME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE (and my kid too!!) I'm willing to bet you'd be pretty pissed off and not only that there's no way I would be welcoming to your home because this is not normal!! I spent 10 years in the American Army and if Muslims or anybody from anywhere around the world is leaving because they are being oppressed it's time for all of you to grow a set of balls, get a spine- and go and get your country back!! I am a female- and if I can do it, so can you!!( and your kids!!) In fact right now the women of Iran are in the middle of a revolutionary war after that young Muslim girl was killed by the local police because she violated a morality rule the women there now I'm sure you are aware of discarding their hijabs and burning them as well as cutting their hair in protest this amazing feat has been going on for almost a year now yet we have men from Iran running away and leaving the women behind to fight their battles..????? That makes the man from Iran look like a bunch of cowards who have no honor whatsoever!! I don't live in France -I live in America and we especially are tired of this b*******. Trying to change your host country is WRONG and you're definitely going to get push- back for it. Go and live amongst people you fit in with and your life will be much easier

I don't like seeing people needing to mold their ideologies because of pressure from institutions, but I will have to agree that Muslims have time and time again, validated the negative stereotypes associated with them through their actions and thoughts. If a group of community just revolve their whole life and ideology around their religion, all they talk is about religion,(I have personally experienced it on discord) then how will they be able to appreciate the beauty of other cultures and country. The reputation of the Muslim community is now at stake here in this age of intense globalization and super fast exchange of communication. So I hope the well educated and civil minds of the Muslim community will try to deal with the uncooperative folks from within because it is now not feasible for non-muslims as I see, to bring about change in the mindset of other Muslims. I know what I have written is mainly unrelated to the video, but I felt a need to express my thought and so I have.

You’re right. It’s funny that the west tries to smear China for their reeducation camps when the west themselves have contrasting ideologies towards Islam.
