I understand if someone thinks Harden or someone else should be MVP. Its all objective, really. But these "basketball experts" that are all over youtube saying westbrook fans are delusional and what he's doing isn't even that impressive, those people i don't understand at all. What do they think when they see people like the ones in this video talk about russ? "Oh, that MJ doesn't know anything about basketball." Jarod Rochell Harden singlehandedly destroyed the whole team a year ago and now rockets needs to get new coach, new teammates and new system to clean up harden's mess. It is why rockets are building the team around d'antoni system rather than harden as harden's selfish isolation style has proven to be biggest failure which he got his coaches fired in 11 games, made all his teammates into scrubs in their career low and pushed them out of town one by one. Harden is now simply a product of d'antoni. Stop stealing credit from d'antoni and the team for fixing up harden who has proven to be the worst leader wannabe. D'antoni deserves the coty more than harden for mvp. Therefore, rockets winning is irrelevant in this MVP race. Tired ppl keeps bring this up. for the that reason, harden is no mvp.

After this season, Westbrook should be considered a top 3 player in the world (yes he's better than Stephen Curry) I've never seen a player other than Kobe play so fearless this dude gives it 100% every game.
@bernardopoku96497 жыл бұрын
one thing people don't realise is that almost all of Westbrook's shots are contested! And using statistics and probability, it has been determined that it is harder to make a shot contested than in transition and off screens. You can blame this on the coach or the gm for the system being run. I think he can get up to 40+% at 3 point line. And get his inner shots up to 50% with the newer additions if they structure the system to get Westbrook off the ball a lot. And make him take contested shots only if it's the last 3 seconds and there isn't a better alternative. Make paul george handle the ball a bit more. Steven adams too. He's a big man and he's shown to have a passing ability. You can look it up on youtube. So have Adams and paul george handle the ball like 70% of possession. When adams handles the ball, he's matched up with a point guard. A point guard can't handle a center, no matter how energetic or strong you are. So there'll be a mismatch there. He can back the points guards up and try to take it to the basket. They'll have no option but to double team cos that's an easy 2 points. So there'll be 3 defenders guarding 4 offensive guys. With one of their centers guarding a guard. And a guard has more handles and more skills so he can dribble and score an easy two. Even he doesn't have handles (andre robberson), there'll still be 4 guys on offen offense, with an odd one out. They could pass till the best shooter or the one feeling the day gets the ball with no defender on him. That's an easy 3 or deep 2 points. With this strategy, we can win the championship.

Makes me real proud to see this from NBA royalty...The fact that you don't dismiss what this guy is doing...the people early on look even more foolish now..he did the "impossible" at the most opportune time...How he does it is as important in the fact that he's done it...Harden probably could have averaged two more rebounds as well on that Rockets team, but his game isn't as relentless...he is a load to stop scoring, but Russ is going to get offensive rebounds and put backs in the trees... #Beast #MVP

Doesn't matter if he's stat padding. He's accomplishing things that make him an MVP 💯. I don't understand people sometimes. They dislike ring chasers, stat padders, etc... It doesn't matter. Honestly I hope that Westbrook gets that piece of metal so it fuels Harden for the playoffs.

That's stupid because every person in the video that just said Russ should be MVP would pick The Rockets to beat them in a 7 game series. Houston has had what 5 season with Harden to build a team around him and find a coach to elivate his game. OKC didn't even have an off season to help build around Westbrook. KD and Ibaka left. Look at the nba stars right now that don't really have a team around them... Paul George, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, DeMarcus Cousins (w/ Kings). All those guys have a better team and better players around then then Westbrook and most of them wont even in the playoffs. With one if the worst teams in the league around him, playing out the west, Russel Westbrook's team has the 9th ranked record in the entire NBA. Even when Jordan kept losing in the 1st round of his career his team wasn't finishing the season above .500 The agrument has been over.

Westbrook is a great player but he should never be called the greatest player in the world. As long as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Khawhi Leonard, and Steph are in the league Westbrook is at the bottom.
