Hey Marty, Keep doing what you are doing, it's great how you are teaching people, the classic songs from back in the day, I've been told I'm a reasonable player, although I still think I wing it tbh, sometimes people ask me to give them lessons, I could, but tbh, I generally point them to people like yourself, and say, go to as many jam sessions as possible, get up and play, watch other players live, most importantly, learn songs and use your ears, soloing will then just come naturally.

Hi Marty! I started playing guitar and love your videos. I have a problem that whenever I have play notes below the 13ish fret I can’t reach. My guitar is acoustic, a bit oddly shaped, and only has has 19 frets (2 less then normal). Do you know any tips or tricks to make playing easier?

When I bought my first acoustic after electric I never even considered it until I jammed my hand in the body. Best solution - buy a cut away. Alternative solution - struggle and over reach
