Ask these women, if they're so independent and these younger generations believe in equality. How many guys have they asked out on dates and paid for the date? I doubt if any have the courage to deal with constant rejection that guys have to endure, when they show interest in a woman and they're not good enough in this demanding world.

Ask what is their opinion about long distance (international) dating and if for Love they would ever consider changing country and establishing far away from Norway, or if they would never consider moving away (so basically the guy should do it). And make them pick a country where they hypothetically would like to live

I really like those ladies that talked about getting the men in their lives to connect with each other more and generally be emotionally available. That was such a positive and selfless message.
@Askaa88
@Askaa88 Жыл бұрын
Women say that men has to be emotionally available but when men decides to open up, it's often seen as too clingy and needy and the woman decides to leave the man which leads to men closing their feelings even more. Advice for women: Sort out what you really want in a relationship and don't just name a bunch of stuff without real thought behind it. Advice for men: Try and talk about your feelings in a more open way with friends and family so it's not a barrier/hurdle when you are in a relationship.

@@TheRickfire imo women have reached men in terms of promiscuity and horniness. Women were much much much less sexual 10 years ago. I remember hearing a very progressive man in a documentary say that women still had a lot of catching up in terms of "hornyness" and I heard that and in my mind that was impossible. Yet, the nordic liberal man in the documentary was right in the end.

(A brazilian guy watching this) Astrid and Mia were sooo interesting! And so different from all the other girls. Both of them were talking about things that really matter to make a relationship work, like being communicative, being open to the other person's ideas. Almost all the other girls in the video were just talking about an image of the ideal man, that would make them get closer to an idealization of what they think they should be (that's a recipe for disaster, in my opinion). It was fun to see so much difference between Astrid and Mia and the other girls, and they weren't even the oldest ones. Besides that, I like listening to the language, nice video.

Jesus Christ wants a personal relationship with you through the Holy Spirit, not religion and blind faith. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, a perfect, sinless sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. It is all finished and now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again, know Jesus personally and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read the Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!

It's interesting how biology is synced in us despite our cultural differences/social engineering which also plays a role. I live in Germany and am born and raised in Greece yet I have heard the same statements from girls from every country concerning ( height, money, confidence etc...). Bottom line is women want men who can basically outsmart them, outearn them and low key overpower them physically if necessary ( fitness plays that role here and genes of course that is why height is important ) to feel safe and have respect for the guy. If not then sooner or later it is not going to work out. So when ladies are talking 50 50 they lowkey want dominance from the other side and basically have reasons to struggle to get there in my honest opinion and although our 'progressed' society implies the 50 50 rule women still seek out the other 70 30 guy.

Feminism is a recipe for an unhappy future for women, since it teaches them to suppress their own nature. Also because demanding rights without the equivalent duties and sacrifices that come along is unrealistic and unfeasible. As an American guy who is much older than everyone in this video, I must say that Mia and Astrid seemed to be the most mature of everyone in this video. The twin sisters come in a close second. The group of three girls are perfect examples of the problem with dating nowadays. I predict that the three of them are going to be single for awhile The other girls were fine given their ages. Men everywhere learn very early on that we should not be open because sooner or later it will be used against us in one way or another. Women love and need to talk out their feelings, while men, rightly or wrongly, do not. I have found that a woman can get their guy to open up if, and only if, she is very loyal to him. True loyalty doesn't take hold until a woman is over thirty. Before that age, women cannot break free from the opinions of their girlfriends. If one of her girlfriends doesn't like the guy, she will most likely end the relationship Women must learn that women value love, and men value complete loyalty. Loyalty is everything. Not being loyal is the kiss of death in a relationship with a guy. Also after 30, women begin to realize that the small things do not matter. And this allows women to break free from their female friends and become more independent and focused on their romantic relationships and marriage.

I agree/disagree. Yes what you said about men and women’s expectations is 100% accurate in my opinion. However I don’t think it has something to do with a womans age, but rather a realization that her beauty will fade away and her biological clock is ticking, so she has to find a man that’s good in her eyes after many years of only caring about superficial stuff like status, friends and attention.

Over a few years, I have fallen in love with Norway and everything Norwegian: The fjords, the countryside, the mountains, the people, the culture and mythology, the language, the art, the history, the food, the way of life, the political system, ALL OF IT. I am taken back by the insight and enthusiasm of Astrid and Mia especially. Where I’m from, young women, and people in general, very rarely show the same level of maturity on matters of relationships (amicable and romantic). My life partner may well be in Norway, so thanks for this video, sir!

In general, these aren't unreasonable takes. I definitely don't agree with all of them. But overall not bad. I did appreciate that they all seemed like complex people. I also appreciated that there were no leading questions. A wider range in age would be nice for next time. Also different questions than only dating questions in other videos would keep me coming back. If your videos are only dating related than I won't stick around.

I have lived in Norway for 27 years. I have had 3 different Norwegian girls for 25 years. I think Norwegian girls are the kindest and most beautiful girls in the world. They understand love and understand if you just want a girlfriend. I wanted to live a stable life and tried to show my girl that I loved her. But I was young and made several mistakes as well. The only thing that was difficult to understand was that they think and think very much especially when it comes to sex. But I learned that too and did my best to get my girl and be satisfied and happy. Norwegian people are extremely kind and good-hearted people. I still love them and wish I could rewind time and work less and be with my girl more.

@@NorwegianOpinion That’s how we’re wired, I suppose. Those men opening up to their girlfriends/wives about some things are viewed differently afterwards, and not in a good way. Showing vulnerability like that makes you lose manly points, especially in the eyes of your woman. These chicks don’t know what they want. Most of them say something and then when they have what they asked for, they don’t like it and don’t want it anymore. Why? Because they can easily get another. Tear up in front of your wife once but that’s it. She’s gonna want you to grow a pair and act like a man after that. Do that a habit and you’re done. Why do women go for bad boys in the first place? They are tough, hot, know what to say, are fun and a little, or very toxic. If there’s anything I learnt until this point in my life is that women in general love drama. If you’re always understanding and don’t show a tad bit of toxicity towards your woman, she starts to get bored and guess what follows after that. Anyway, the only way a man should be emotionally available to his woman is by listening to what she has to complain about and comfort her. The moment he becomes the vulnerable one it’s like taking her place. Don’t listen to the BS these chicks are advising. You’re gonna get cheated on and guess whose fault that’s gonna be. Be a man and stay strong, to all those maybe confused!

Communication is key and everything but can only do so much if the other side doesn't respect limits and is constantly trying to push the partner to be something he or she is not. In these cases very often one side comes to that mentioned outcry: "I don't want to be with you anymore." or is ghosting or worse. It took me a few relationships, with women from different cultures and backgrounds, an abusive marriage, an ugly divorce and traumatic fight for child care to learn when and how to say no and to stand by it.Similar story with most of my family, friends and colleagues in recent years. It's like a plague once you dive into the dirty details. There's too much dishonesty on both sides because that mentioned "subconsciousness" tells us something very different than social expectations, norms, beliefs, stereotypes, tropes have burned into our minds. Up to the point that I can't be bothered with "active" dating anymore. I just want to be allowed to be me, feel free and have a laugh. Call it post midlife crisis in the 30s xD

Interesting comment because I noticed this in a program with two identical twin who got adopted; one in Norway and one in the US. Both girls were quite similar. Not surprising given that they were identical, but I do remember the girl adopted to Norway was a lot more introspective than the American girl. But I think the American girl was more outgoing. You could see a bit why though when you followed their upbringing. American girl got driven to a lot of organized activities. A lot of action with other people all the time. The Norwegian girl roamed around a lot more on her own. She would go into an abandoned house and explore it, or just bike around the hillside or whatever. She did much less organized activity and spent more time by herself reflecting on things. I do remember that from growing up myself in Norway and my experience in the US. It is much more action and activity focused in the US. In Norway I think being bored is almost seen as something positive. You like kids to figure out what they want to do themselves. Take their own initiative. And I noticed we probably have more autonomy as children in Norway. We can go a lot more around on our own without supervision.

Do the same interview in the US. The average woman here is not as eloquent, feminine, nor fit as these women but have higher and more unreasonable standards...

To all Men :" Height is important" they said. Again this i what they said that :"Height is important". You do realize that all these women (and this applies for all women in every nation) they all say the same thing that height is important. Looks is very important and they want all these qualities they said they want from THESE men (tall ,handsome and successfull) not from the rest of the average to below average men. No surprise. PC: Consequently these interviews that take place quite often for years now are referring to this kind of men not to the average vast majority of men.

I'm 34 (German) and have never had a girlfriend. I don't get to know women and people in general. I have one close friend but I'm lonely. I'm not able to find friends and women despite living in a big city. My life feels like living on Mars. Some hours ago I visited cinema alone again (98 % of my cinema visits had been without a companion). I'm not happy at all.

Watching this as an American man, I found some of the responses about education and career field very refreshing. If I spoke the language, I would have enjoyed doing these interviews. The responses were very good and I think I would have some more follow-up questions. I think that the girl who said she would enjoy a "goofy" guy (Mia) would get along with me, because she also said looks were not real important.

cool how they are borrowing english phrases and words, quite a lot actually. it was not that way when i was in sweden in the late 80s (although most spoke fluent english). i suppose that's what happens when you have a culture that learns english from an early age, and now combined with the ubiquity of social media, etc...

@ullvm1112 …hi yes. Anyone who states that education is not very important in choosing a mate, is ignorant and denying some evolutionary facts of the strong surviving. Blondes, typically the air-headed type in the U.S. and from California, which Hollywood promotes, always go after the jock at the gym, who has little to no brains. We now see that playing out in the type of politicians elected by such voters. And so the U.S. is in free fall decline, like much of the West. Thank you for allowing me to give my opinion. Woman, like men, should choose the best mate; that is the smartest, most hardworking mate to mate with. Society, and civilization in general, depends upon it.
