xShii_00 no this is 80s its just lots of things don't and didn't change since then. Its just the dumb corny stereotype Halloween 80s costumes that makes 80s look funny and say certain people take literally. In the video as you can see these were the everyday look for people and its really not much of a difference to many today.

a w that’s got nothing to do with anything, it’s about adoption into your family for life, not treating a being who needs the same things we all do, and whose life depends on this all, as a temporary object. Not about happiness when the photo was taken and that’s it. And it’s not bs, it’s utterly important. Have you got any idea how many get purchased from breeders instead of being rescued from death and then dumped when the novelty wears off? How would you feel?

I felt quality of life was better back then, and it's probably not just cause I was an adolescent. In this time, before the internet and social media, people were forced to be more outgoing, and the only thing that bothered people was the shit they would report on the news. If you flicked off the news, you were basically unplugged from the world, and there was high music culture that gave people alot of joy.

Standard definition is really underrated in my opinion. You'd be used to seeing home movies or degraded home VCR recordings from this era as apposed to videos shot on professional equipment which is why you think this looks good for its time (it is compared to what's readily available on the Internet from this era). E.g. news reports from the early 2000s and from the 1980s would been shot at the same 480i analog tape format (although I think some organisations would've moved to digital tape with the 480p format in the early 2000s) Also, Betamax >> VHS
