80s kids on life in the city | RetroFocus

The ABC’s Behind the News interviewed these inner-city kids in 1980 about whether they enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the big smoke.
School-aged Paul and Ryan liked the wide social circle that city life offered and didn’t tend to notice pollution or crowding. Young twins Flame and Lake, on the other hand, longed for the peace and space of the country.
