Casual wear is so hard to disguise a belly as t shirts, tops even blouses show it. Wearing a smart blazer with a loose top is good but when its hot a blazer is no good. Menopause is making me look pregnant. I have heavy Sequined evening top and pair of straight leg light weight trousers and it hides it so well. I look so slim. Skinny jeans t shirts, even if baggy shows it when the wind pushes against the top lol. Ohhhh it's not fair!

I see women wearing vests instead of blazer for hotter weather. Or a vest type of thing (like kimono, or a shirt in a very light fabric). Yeah, one of the reasons I don't like summer: you are limited in styling, because you don't want to add layers. I recently opt for hiding tummy through proportions. A looser skirt (A-shape or circle) placed higher than natural waist and the slimmest point accentuated with a belt. Yeah, you can still tell I have a tummy, but the proportions make it look more flattering than exposing it.

Good shout out about paperbag trousers. I was wondering about them. The only way you can wear cropped top is if you pair it with a high waisted full skirt for example. But I would personally go for one that I can still tuck in or hide under belt. Just as a way of styling the tops you already have.
