From the title i thought this was going to be more about "practical" clothing, but it's great you focused on making everyone feel comfortable on the dancefloor. If you ever make another version of this video, please include these 2: - beads in the ends of your hair. Leaders like to keep their teeth when you spin! - loose bags. Leaders don't want to be hit in the stomach as you turn!

Good balance Rasa. As a lead I will be judged by whom I ask to dance. If I'm dancing will somebody who is spilling out of their top, that will reflect on me. But somebody being sexy and modest is very attractive.

Haha. Lately I’ve been wearing skirts with slits but with very dark and thick tights. But… not so comfortable to dance with in my experience. The slit just never stays in one place whenever I’m dancing about.

I have really cute dress but it's too short sadly, even with tights that hide everything. If I were to do a move where I bend over it would barely cover my butt. That makes me sad. I've finally gotten comfortable with mini skirts but purposefully choose an asymmetrical cut that isn't too high or are compression material so it doesn't ride up. I wear them with hose or wear bike shorts underneath. The most risque I've gotten is a high slit that cuved around my thigh but it was the only revealing part. It risked showing the curve of my buttock, so I pinned it in place with safety pins. It stayed but I had to return it. Crop tops that show underboob or risk it is one I've seen too much of. Totally agree with your video. I would love to see a how to test clothes you're buying for social dancing. I thrift a lot of outfits for social dancing and stretch and raise my arms. 😅

Rasa I agree. Being sexy and stylish is fun but showing too much can make others around uncomfortable. No one’s body parts or undergarments need to be shown to the public.

This is really helpful. I literally jumped on a different video of yours to request this topic only to realise you've already done it. Could you do a part 2 for those of us who like to dress more modestly? How do you keep covered-ish and not get too hot and sweaty? I tend to favour floaty loose tops with a stretchy mini-ish skirt, but my last floaty top was too floaty and my husband's hands kept getting caught up in it when he'd reach for my hand mid-dance, especially in hand toss moves or behind the back moves. So a part 2 for the more conservative among us would be awesome! I know when I watch a lot of KZbin social dance videos I think the ladies look stunning but know I can never wear what they do ✨

I am confused about the thong xD do you mean that you shoud not wear a thong that is sticking out of your pants or visible through see through pants/skirts? Because that I agree with, but I wear thongs pretty much with everything else (leggings, pants, tight dresses) because otherwise I have 4 buttcheeks 😅😅

I think the new age of "p*rnchata" teachers as I call it have a lot to do with this trend. Etiquette is not taught any more. Great thing that Rasa addresses these kind of things with her videos.

Is there an equivalent video/guidelines for guys? We don't tend to wear many low cut tops...but maybe there's a level of exposed chest hair that's a bit too much 😂

That's a good question, maybe not the nakedness, but there are some questional choices 🤔 but I think the nudity is very much a woman trend 🙈
