Ryan. You may be right about the Cholesterol med. I had a 2 year bout with depression. I finally figured out it was the cholesterol med I was on. I stopped it and was better in less than a week. When I was a business owner I had to constantly remind myself that I was in charge of my schedule otherwise there was always something to get done. Schedule non working times during the day and at least one full day off weekly and make it non negotiable. Use that time for only yourself and family. The last thing I will recommend is a KZbin channel Learn Somatics. This has helped me release deep held stress and reset the nervous system. Take a look. Much love for you, your family and Thailand.

I owned a bar in Pattaya 20yrs ago, did pretty much as you did., Became it's best ever customer, wrapped my bike round a lampost , which ended in the hospital, and me losing the lot. You learned and overcame a lot sooner than i did, so you'll never be short of a few bob. You're sharp as a shithouse rat to boot, and i must say, a lot of your rants are truly inspirational!

First, it's good to see and hear from you so soon. You look well. It doesn't necessarily feel like it to you because life is a journey that can't be lived in the future but you are still a very young man. You will have another 50 years or more to experience this life. You will never arrive because life constantly resets as we get used to another stage. You are very contemplative and brilliant. These attributes can and often do add to your feelings because you are a thinker and an achiever. I enjoy watching you because I was and am you. In 50 years you will look back and be pleased. I want you to please take heart in that.

Running a business can consume you if your not careful. Important to know when to switch off…not so much 9-5 but knowing when you’ve done enough for the day. Also that applies for the week. The experience I have had is that once you start talking about "experiencing a mental health struggle", actually you're part of quite a big club. As mental health is You don't have to be positive all the time. It's perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn't make you a negative person it makes you a human. That's why I'm glad to see how you describe your own covid situations till this year when you moved to Bangkok by understanding how to clear Thailand person situations of mental health which is you are the foreigner person.
@MrUled11 күн бұрын
I remember posting when you decided to leave corporate and go to simple life in Thailand. I was in the same mindset but had to just 'finisht one more role' to see covid through. I ended up severely damaging my health during that time and am still in that situation. How I wish I could have made a different choice. Take care of yourselves everyone!

good to see you back in action again. You're an inspiration Ryan! Be proud of the home, the business, and the family that you've built! Glad you took some time to revisit the plant teachers. You're one of the channels that inspired me to visit Thailand and try it out (currently here for a few more days). The last couple weeks I've lived with a family in rural Thailand to test that side of environment. They have a beautiful garden full of fruits, veggies, and flowers that I've always dreamt of having. Unfortunately I think I have the wrong blood type because these mosquitos love me (don't seem to bother anyone else much). Are they a bother where you're located and how do you deal with them other than sweating my butt off in pants and long sleeves 24/7? Our goals are basically the same, chasing freedom (body/mind, physical/mental) and I also have appreciate and studied plant medicines for some time. When I return next you'll definitely have a new customer! And if you are ever in need of more help for the business (shooting/editing/etc) I would totally be interested in a trial! PS I got to meet Denis Mckenna after a lecture he gave in Minnesota and he was kind enough to take a photo with me! One of my favorite modern scientists! Keep up the good work! Cheers mate!

Not to go into it about my past personal life, but I'm much happier now living in Thailand where I'm at now in my life. Sure, things could be better if I wanted to get back into the daily grind of gotta have the cars that cost more than most peoples homes, the large multimillion dollar home, wearing the best of the best in clothing, the stress of paying for it all, but then I also wouldn't have the loving Thai family that I have now. Watched this vlog as I am about to head to a bar in Pattaya, haha. Anyway, glad you are off fthe meds. As it's a sad reality that modern educated doctors, although many are sincere just prescribe big-pharma drugs that tend have more side-effects than benefits. Not to mention there are natural remedies for most ailments (including cancer) out there to be found, after opening ones mind to this possibility. Also luv'd the part about reaching freedom, and the emancipation of fear. An interesting thing about that is that once true freedom is achieved, one can begin to fear the freedom and lack of outside responsibility itself...

I used to be on 6-8 prescriptions daily for a few different types of pains (mainly from car accidents) plus I used to get shitfaced off alcohol 6 nights a week. I thought getting a graveyard job would've helped reduce the alcohol..... but I found other times to drink. one day I decided to drop that shitfaced/Debbie downer prescription life and decided to get weed a try. life has been improving ever since (since 4/19/2010). this won't work for most people, but I can partially relate to what you are going through. you have an awesome community, sir. and hello from Phrae. p.s. coincidentally, I believe I was the 420th like on this video. 💚
