Something you may not have thought about: Many THAIS are leaving Thailand; especially for my town- Houston,Texas. Nobody there can afford it either. Chinese are gentrifying the hell out of the place, and it sounds as if they're weaponizing Thai law against non-Han. That georgious backdrop of trees, water and earth? That'll be a shopping mall in between a cement beehive rental block in 5 years.

I LOVE the biz blogs..... I will be moving to Thailand/Cambodia in 3-4 years and continuously thinking about the future and what could a small biz be for me and my partner......I like you biz model too with being a disti - this sounds like the best model versus building a factory and going back to the 9-5.....its a tough decision....I am one of those no thai located followers.... still living and working in IRE at 50 but thinking and planning for the next phase....thanks for the help with my brainstorming...!!

My mother-in-law grows paddy straw and oyster mushrooms. I tried convincing her to grow 'special' mushrooms, but she didn't see the potential. LOL

Hate that term "how much do you pay your Thai wife".......as in Scandinavia where I was spat out.... We are partners, nobody gets paid, we share......cheap Charlie's pay their partners.....

Never mind previous comment.....my neighbor is literally the "I live with my brother" you are only a walking ATM if you don't live here 24/7. Treat your wife/girlfriend here the same as you would in your home county.......cheap Charlie think twice

Spot on...... people conventionally forget the red light districts in their home countries while criticizing Thailand......the very same people came here for the Beer bar and the service girls........

Tony it is hard to sell anything when one is as enthusiastic as you are...besides your price is out of this world in this market. Be lucky with half the money...or not...

Great video, I could feel the enthusiasm that you both have. This is not just because it is working out well, but because you care. When you do something you like it has a completely different feel and the whole opportunity of doing your thing is exhilarating. This is the difference in living or just being in life. Well done. 👍❤️😇

It’s not “work” if you enjoy doing it. You guys are turning your hobbies into sustainable hobbies and raising a family. Nice.

im moving to Thailand in May. I would pay to stay a weekend and do some En Plein Air painting and Writing. Have you thought of offering your place as an Artist Retreat in the spring and fall? im in if so.

19:00 minutes of the video: Yes, if it doesn't fee like work then that is awesome and what it's all about. Plus, when you have children you want to set them up for success or at least an income for your wife if something does happen to you. I grew up in the country and like many of us in the west left for the big city life at a young age and now that I'm older all I want to do is get the hell out of the city. 3 years, 10 months and 25 days to go.
So fascinating. I really apreciate this content. I had no idea.

Perfect timing for the vlog. My ladies recent big money idea is she wants to breed and sell cats since a good friend gifted her a ragdoll. She is extremely allergic to cats and this is what her idea is ... lol.

But for myself, still trying to come up with some ideas while I build up capital in the US. Surely i'll have more of an idea in the next 1-3 years.

People think that sitting around doing nothing all day is fun....they havent tried it before, it sucks....it is ok for a day or two but after a month you get so bored....you literally start looking for work to do for free.

As an entrepreneur myself, I respect your plan to stay local. I have seen many companies with a successful product fail by expanding too quickly. Time flies and kids miss Mom and Pop when they are too busy - and Mom and Pop miss the kids when they are grown and gone.
