I looked up the brand only to be dismayed by the prices 😅on the one hand it’s cool to prove that up-cycling can be profitable and companies don’t have to sacrifice profits in order to sell these pieces, on the other hand one of the major issues of sustainability is that you can’t change the buying habits of the masses if you don’t make them affordable. Also, I wonder if companies that aren’t upcycling will just make more money by selling waste materials, or will justify less sustainability because other actors in the industry are willing to compensate.
