Congrats on your commissioning as a 2LT! You gave a good list of leadership bullet points that every leader should learn and remember. As for myself, I did my NS about 40 years ago and the leadership lessons that I learnt then has been invaluable to me in civilian life. And for those who are about to enter NS, my advice is to try to get into command school. Learning how to properly lead men in NS will actually allow you to be a good manager/leader in civilian life. Good luck with the rest of your NS and your future.
