Technical speaking that Chinese way is right because when you have a baby or your body is vulnerable and you cannot track any cold or fever, anything can enter you. And it's the first time and you can tell she went through a lot of pain so she need to recover. She need to recover in Africa. We don't have all the help like this and also here in Europe everybody's working but she's lucky that she got such a good lovely family that helping her out and that's the way it's supposed to be

In Africa we do help, I remember everytime I was giving birth my house was full of people helping cooking. There were so much food I was a queen for two months

In the west the ladies have babies and before the week is over, they are back in the streets and taking the babies out in the public. I have a relative who had her baby on a Monday, and she stayed in the hospital until that Wednesday. When she got out, she went shopping and visiting her friends showing off the baby. I tried to tell her to stay in the house for a few weeks and she thought I was being too old fashioned.

Very good mother in law❤ We Chinese after giving birth baby cannot carry heavy things , doing housework or touch water for 3Odays in Singapore🇸🇬 But in China is 45days need to rest more eat healthy foods. If i hv a good mother in law my health will be strong is cos i hv a evil mother in law ask me to do house work like mob d floor, wash clothes untill now i hv seen alots of dr due to my health
