It took me a long time to understand why certain conversations, both in real life and online, make me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. It’s when the things people say don't match what they do, or what I perceive. What does it say about them? What does it say about me? Let me take you through a few examples so that we can explore this subject together.

Thank you for your honesty and this beautiful episode🌷. I can not agree more with you, people are telling themselves stories and believe in those stories. That helps them to survive a rough period of their life or to justify something that is not valid. I can recognize every example you talked about from my conversations with my friends. A woman who told you that all that matters are children and that`s the most important thing a woman can do....she probably knows about your fight for having a child..... what she said was very inconsiderate and rude, not just a deception. I`m sorry that she made you cry. Many women I know don`t exist as persons but just as mothers. It`s annoying and you are right, there is insecurity behind it. The worst of all for me is that I fight inside of myself not to say: "Oh, you are lying to yourself, kind of gaslighting yourself, can`t you see that?" I told my friend that once and she doesn`t want to talk to me any longer.🙂 Thank you once again🌸

Je suis tout à fait d'accord. Quand on est vraiment heureux, on ne met pas sa vie en scène. Dire que l'on ne vit que pour ses enfants, je ne trouve pas cela honnête ni même sain pour eux. J'aime mes filles, mais je trouve que c'est terriblement difficile de les élever et même si je suis heureuse de les retrouver toutes les deux semaines, je suis souvent soulagée de les ramener chez leur père afin de pouvoir avoir ma semaine à moi, afin de prendre soin de moi, de partager des moments avec mon amoureux et travailler. Et comme le disent les anglo-saxons, actions speak louder than words...
