This is all so true. As an introvert und high sensitive person I owe these capacities naturally. For me it is rather the opposite. In my 20s I was in full harmony with myself and my decisions. I didn't feel weird when I did things differently, e.g. spending Saturdays night in my bed reading rather than socializing. I thought that's just what I liked and that's it. When I had to make dicisions I found them in myself rather than relying on others or on mainstream opinions. I was with a rather ugly boyfrind, but I gave a damn on it. I chose a career against the ideals of my family. I just did it. But getting more and more involved in life, more and more socialised by people who precisely don't owe these abilities, I started feeling that there is something wrong with me. People in my surroundings critzied me for not being like this or that, they ridiculized my sensitivity, they downplayed my capacity of understanding deeper functioning of things. So I started questioning my mental health. It took me a while to understand that my inner life was perfectly healthy until it got corruprted by society. I still struggle as my inner self knows well what is good for me, but it's hard to fight constantly against others who blame you for being precisely like this and not following mainstream or their opinions. The only way to feel good about myself again is to distance myself from other people which is also not a good thing, as it makes you pretty lonely. I wish a society where intuition is more valued, where sensitivity, sensibility and introversion are considered as a strengh rather than a weakness and where people rely more on themselves than on the outside world. And also a world with more tolerance and understanding for people who do things differently. It would be more confortable and enriching for everyone. Thanks for making a contribution to help people looking inwards rather than outwards and in the process enriching not only themselves, but also society by introducing more variety of acceptable whays of being.

I can’t agree with you more. When I ignored my intuitions I always paid for it. I find it liberating to say No in a polite way.

I am writing and recording my first record right now with my man. Such a crazy ride but we are doing it!😍🎶🌠 I march to the beat of my own drums! I need solitude every day. It's a great way to follow your own path only. Love these videos, Gerance. I loved watching your videos also years ago. 🌟

Thank you very much for this video. It comes my way like it’s a sign that tells me „you‘re on your path, don’t stop!“ It’s my first time in my life that I have a long period of time solitude and I love it even though I sometimes want to leave and hide in former behaviors. This Video is a reminder to me and im looking forward to you next one.
