Their Honesty... And their tenets of Good thoughts, good words and good deeds. This invites the blessings of the Almighty and is one of the main reasons of their success and prosperity. Parsees may not be wealthy, but they are certainly a prosperous community.

Hi - I am proud to be a Parsi & am overwhelmed to see this video ..many Indians do recognise us inspite of a few who are still unaware & approach us as to which religion we belong to & whether we come from a western country .. Dhinsak😂..our delicacy is mutton Dhansak ..never heard of the Maglai though 😮.. would like to thank everyone in this video who have shown so much respect to our community 😘

As with all communities, we Parsees, too, have poor brethren. There are the old, the disabled, the destitute- but we are a small community and so they are not very visible. We also have, thanks to the large heartedness of our affluent people a good network of charities which help the less fortunate. We were the first to educate our women in the 1800s and this had contributed greatly to our successes.

parsi minority community in india but wealthiest people, nation builder and not use victim card like 2nd largrest majority religion 😅

Being a minority community is not a bad thing. That's how the constitution recognizes each and every community... so why to get offended by that?
@sanayabodhanwalla68627 ай бұрын
that is because fortunately we have not been made into victims. Great observation.

What you guys seem to have missed is that all those Parsi surnames with the "wala" suffix are in fact Gujarati names indicative of profession and town of origin, and not specifically Parsi or Persian names, which Parsis abandoned centuries ago. Other Gujaratis too share some of those names. Also, "dikra" is a Gujarati word for "son" and non-Parsi Gujaratis also call their sons "dikra". By the way, some of your interviewees are bullshitting about a few things, which indicates they don't know Parsis very well.

Thankyou all for your positive comments for the Parsis, but please come out of the misconception that all Parsis are wealthy. Yes there are lot of wealthy people touchwood, but most of us are from middle class and there are quite a few struggling even below the poverty line.

Thank you for shedding light on this important aspect. You're absolutely right; while there are indeed affluent Parsis, it's crucial to recognize the diversity within the community.
