tbh no serious classical musician thinks moonlight sonata 3rd movement is hard. Maybe a beginner classical musician might think that, but serious ones know there are a lot harder pieces.
@piano_senpai88 Жыл бұрын
It ain’t even that difficult of a Beethoven sonata either, 1st movement is emotionally difficult(hardest part), 2nd…, 3rd movement is difficult but doable if you practice right. Honestly, there’s so many harder pieces than moonlight 3rd(eg. Liszt-Erlkönig, Liszt-pick a reminisces, Liszt etudes, Chopin scherzi &ballades, most of the other Beethoven sonatas, especially romantic era, Rach etudes, etc) when getting into more classical music, there’s honestly so many pieces that make moonlight 3rd look like a beginner piece by comparison
@LevelUpCewb Жыл бұрын
to nonmusicians and beginners they might think it's hard, but serious classical musicians realize that it's not really considered hard simply because there is clearly harder pieces even simply just by beethoven himself. In fact, the 3rd movement of moonlight sonata would be considered a "medium difficulty" piece if you were to do a difficulty ranking of all beethoven sonatas, simply cause some of them are just that difficult.

Depends on the circumstance. Really the best strategy I find is just practice that separately. If you can play it at a medium speed, I like to change my rhythm and emphasize every 1st, then 2nd, then third note and perhaps make it go quick, then slow, quick then slow, as if its jazz. Then you can piece it all together. Hope this helps!
