Wonderful videos, thank you so much for all the valuable information you have shared over the years. I have a question about plant lights because I am trying to recoup some money wasted on one of those double-dome lights that are not recommended. I have bought the recommended, elongated UVB strip light from you kit video now. Since that has been corrected, my question is can I get a plant bulb that could go on the other side of my double dome fixture? I already bought it and heating bulb on the other side is one you approved in your PetCo tour. So now I have ordered the correct UVB and already have the correct heating bulb, but I'm trying to see if there is a way to still use the fixture I bought as well. If I can't find a plant light or something to go on the other side of this double fixture, I will basically have to struggle to find someone who wants to buy it for a non-chameleon enclosure in an attempt to get a partial refund. Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

I have a question: 9:23 shows the cham falling. I'm considering getting one, and I'd like to know if falling injuries are a big risk and how to prevent them. Thanks in advance.

A healthy chameleon will be able to fall from a short distance without any issues. In the wild they will actually throw themselves out of trees to run from predators and threats. Having lots of plants and branches in the enclosure can help prevent any falls and injuries but sometimes they climb the screen even with lots of plants and branches. As you saw in the video, Neptune was able to catch himself on a plant and have a safe landing. Now if you have a sick/weak chameleon as a result of improper care then falls are much more common and could end up with broken bones.

Hey Neptune, im having an eye issue at the Moment. I can’t find no video on your channel or chameleon academy channel that talks about it. So problem is the left eye is squinting(never closed) Vs the right eye is wide open. The vet gave me some drips for him with works but when I quit applying the drips it goes back squinting. Do you think it is vitamin A deficiency or something else?

Hi! Have you changed the UVB light recently? fI it is new, it cannot be used immediately, you have to turn it on for 24 hours before you put it into the enclosure. If not, your chameleon can go blind...

Hello sweet lady, I've been meaning to ask you if you have ever thought maybe neptune doesnt like the color of you hair.i think its beautiful by the way. I ask beacuse we have noticed Wall-e has a major dislike for my red glasses and my hubs Orange shirt. Its almost the only time he gets crabby around us. My broomlaids stunk really bad. I hope you dont experience that.
