You'd have to be paying around 50 mil atleast if you were to purchase him and even then, you couldn't guarantee he'd stay fit either. So that whole stay fit conundrum doesn't really apply imo. Glad you made the point about Anguissa, I was thinking the same thing. A cheap stop-gap that is a of a decent enough quality to allow us to spend in other areas. Can go big on a starting CM (e.g. Ederson or Nico Gonzalez) and have Anguissa as an extra body. Also Region would be a good shout on a free if both Shaw & Malacia go. We signed Diego Leon but who knows what the plan for him and Amass will be short term. Regulion and one of the many LWB options on the market will give us good cover if the 2 young LBs are loaned out. We could even look at a GK if Altay Bayindir & Tom Heaton leave. Alvaro Valles at Las Palmas is in the last year of his deal and had a good season last year but doesn't seem to play much this season, so he could be looked at.

I agree fully about Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa. His physicality at the position would be hugely appreciated and right now we just need players for the next two to three years who we can pick up on a free at their peak. I do disagree about Angel Gomes. I don't disagree in regards to him playing the Eriksen role, you are right, they have very similar limitations but I think he would be a really strong fit as an attacking midfield option. If Mount is going to be injured and if Bruno is potentially going to see more game time at 8 potentially, I think Gomes is a very serviceable option who at worst we can sell for a profit in a few years. I really like the Sergio Reguilón signing for free at the seasons end. He would be a perfect back up and depth piece at LWB and is a great crosser of the ball.

Personally, I don't think we should give up on Zirkzee yet. He just arrived this year and will need some time to adjust into Amorim's system like everyone else. Yes, he hasn't been good in his overall performances and yes, he's not a prolific goal scorer (or even a great goal scorer for that matter), but we have to remember he's only 23. His best years are still ahead of him. And let's be honest. I don't think Ineos will want to sell a player they overpaid his release clause on just 1 year after they brought him to the club.

Gomes has survived in a very physical league in France and has thrived! Angel can play 2-3 positions i.e 6,8 and 10 and teams need players with such versatility! Please don't mention Reguilon who is past it!

Scoffed at Anguissa in the thumbnail ngl, but did not realise he is 29, 3 year deal as a sqaud option is perfect for all the reasons you said. Zelewski been mentioned a lot in the comments and I don’t mind that one, for depth especially over regullion given his age and versatility. Jonathon David worth it as an option given it looks like zirkzee won’t last long. We are so tight on the line for cash sqaud options like this have to be free transfers that allow us to improve the XI and let youngsters develop into the squad. Unscripted was good, sounds more natural.

First I think this format is better, sounds more genuine. Secondly, now I have to 100% agree with you, Anguissa could be a top signing, Ugarte, Anguissa, Mainoo and Ederson why not? Wouldn't Will Hughes from Palace be a good option to? On Angel Gomes don't you think he could be a Mac Allister type option for United ? The argentinian was a bit soft in his first days at Liverpool but rapidly developed into being a more robust player and is doing great now, also Ligue 1 is very physical and Angel is doing pretty well there being one of the best players in the ligue. Kolasinac is an excellent player, very inteligent defender and used to the 3-4-3 formation, the only downside would be his age, would he be 28 ou 27 and I'd say is a no brainer. (The game you were talking about is the one against Real Madrid were he got a penalty) David for Zirzkee would make a lot more sense on the current system, David started his career as an Inside Forwad/Second striker and only in recenlty years was fixed to a more central position, realistically he's better than both Hojlund and Zirkzee so it wouldn't be a bad option and for free ?Why not.

What do you think about Nuno Mendes vs Davies? I think Davies is the best option available but Im also like you a bit sceptical of his wages. Also, is this stuff about Olmo true? Could he become available? One thing I wonder about is the potential value in the premier league market. For instance Liam Delap has been good this season, Mbeumo too. If wolves get relegated could we go for Matheus Cunha and/or Ait-Nouri? Or even further down in the championship, if there are any players there United should look at.

What do you think about the likes of Walker Pieters I think he’s a perfect Dalot replacement i personally thinks he’s better than Dalot & Malacia who should be sold this summer as I think both will never reach the heights to start for United and Dalot would bring a good amount of money he offers the same versatility as a a Dalot whilst being much better in advanced position he also wouldn’t command a crazy wage and would be super solid as a back up in both wingback roles which we’ve actually seen at first hand when we played them this season as it him and Dibling causing havoc on both sides I think it’d such a smart move not only would it be free he’s homegrown on top of all that

We need players in this January window. As much as we need Alphonso Davies, he'll command an enormous salary. We'd still need another top LWB if we sign Alvaro Carreras, hence, there's no point buying him back just to bench him. Reguilon is a more experienced and gettable option this January, then Nuno Mendes in the summer. A winger-like LWB would be needed too, someone like Elanga or Adingra, whichever we can get to replace Antony. If we're losing both Casemiro and Eriksen, we'd need atleast 2 midfielders and Napoli may not let Anguissa leave this January plus he's 29 we shouldn't be signing anyone above 25 or at most 26 (only if they're WC level). We need solid years from our Midfielders not declining years but if we can get him this January, it'd definitely be a boost Tijjani Reijnders and Angelo Stiller should be top priority in the summer. As for our forward line, nothing should stop us from getting Son (except he declines to join us out of respect for Tottenham) but Oshimen on Loan and Rayan Cherki (Lyon) should be a must this window. Bastoni should be our defensive reinforcements for the summer but we can get David Hancko (Feyenoord) this January.

For me I’d seriously invest in some free agents this summer there is actually a lot of quality: For Lwb Alphonso Davies is the obvious suggestion and I’d simply do it we have to spend there regardless I don’t believe buying back Alvaro is the answer as I don’t believe Alvaro he will become starting quality but if brought him in in Jan it’d be good for but we’d still have to invest there in my opinion so might as well bring Alphonso in if not then I’d go Alvaro now and in the summer invest in either Kerkez who has the ability to be europes best fullback or Nuno Mendes who already is

3 players I would look to sign for free would be 1. Nicola Zalewski, both footed, 22y, could play both sides. 2. Christian Norgaard, although I like Anguissa myself also but Norgaard as someone who knows the league much better would be IMO perfect fit for Ugarte's backup and 3. Tom Bischof, I must admit I don't know much about him but seeing his stats for this season as a 19y in Bundesliga for a free transfer there's nothing to lose and I would even send him back to Bundesliga on loan for 25/26 season.

He needs a loan move in championship. Let him play men’s football and bulk out a bit. The demands of premier league football and that too at United the demands are non-stop. Youth players with great potential need to be transitioned with leaders in the team, so they don't bring in anxiety into their game. This has been the issues over the years with United, burning out the youth. Amorim understands the need for a more nurturing environment for these youth talents. And we can't mess up this transition for this current youth set up, considering we have one of the best U18s for years. Gore, Fletcher, Fitzgerald, Collyer, Amass all need loans in the Championship. Short term get a player in their prime that can model the game for these youth and do a job for 2-3years. Anguissa and Reguillon is a good shout.

United need to cut ties with Luke Shaw especially the disrespect he showed by going to Euros & coming back injured Davies & Malacia thats enough Depth for the LWB role as potentially Harry Amass to push & we won’t be splashing around for each position so this free transfer makes so much sense. Gomes would be great he can play in the front 3 and bruno can play in the 2 like he did vs Everton and i would like him to challenge Bruno for that LAM/RAM we are much more balanced with 3 mids
