I remember playing CP in 2007 next to my IRL childhood friends when I was 8 years old. The first event we experienced was this medieval party with dragons and dungeons, where you went out as a group figuring out how to complete these puzzle-filled quests. We felt so rewarded because we solved it together using papers to scribble on and what not. Best memories. If I had one wish it would be to relive this event as an 8 year old for a day.

I also remember when th EPF (Elite Penguin Forces) was a new thing added to the game, and you actually had to complete secret tasks in order to be hired or trained as a secret agent. That phone booth building was actually disguised as a phone booth building and only the cool or smart kids would actually notice there were more than what meets the eye. Pure childhood magic.

I loved Club Penguin as a kid and after it got shutdown I played Rewritten in 2017. I played every so often for 5 and a half years and had amassed a lot of stuff, just like I did in the original one. So when even that got shutdown, I was really disappointed. New Club Penguin is cool but man it doesn’t hit the same tbh

veteran of private servers here, been playing them since 2017, so many versions of cp have been and gone now, which is such a shame. private servers are so different to the original club penguin, as the communities are so welcoming and friendly, and it’s so heartbreaking when you’ve made so many new friends and have built up such a good account (rarity and collecting is a massive part of the private servers), just to wake up one day with it all gone. it sucks, but there are always new ones popping up at least once a month. great video, so interesting to see the reaction of someone who has never played before.

I was a Club Penguin player. I grew up on the game, and the Secret Agent side has always been my favorite bit. I was devastated when I heard Disney decided to shut the website down and transferred everything over to a phone app that you had to pay for to even open the game. When I heard about Club Penguin Rewritten, I jumped on the bandwagon and had a blast getting achievements I was never able to get and replaying all the secret missions. Then Disney shut that down too. Now I'm 26 and playing New Club Penguin, just praying that Disney won't be able to shut that down as well.

Sadly it isn’t any longer. Some good things must come to an end. At least Club Penguin ended on a good note. With all the new up to date games like club penguin they would have no way to compete. Not alone make money, they don’t really have a good way to make money from it.

I Loved Club Penguin growing up. The fun part of it was it was the most popular go to online game during the time, and everyone enjoyed playing. It was a game that people as an almost an alternate reality, a home away from real reality. It gave people the chance to customize your penguin and level up, and getting to experience every seasonal party was the best. The memberships actually had a use back then and had a huge part in playing the game. I remember endless mini games to add money to my penguin, then to blow it on cool new seasonal party outfits or Igloo customizations. Don’t get me started on the Halloween and Christmas parties either, those were the best. The fact that Disney not only bought the game but is being stingy about the rights is total pettiness. If they don’t want to run the game they should let someone else instead of just taking it away all together

The original creator of club penguin rocket snail tried to buy it back so the player base could experience it but they refused too give Disney just ignores customer feedback there where several dmca but everything dates back to cpo or club penguin online the admins doxed players shared personal information lack of moderation and allowed swearing it wasn’t until a news reporter found this out through several interviews and the Disney found out and sent out DMCA too all private servers after that but then more than over a thousand private servers poped up like newcp cplegacy and more
