@@dracu.5433 Clearly some of the top content creators had in their head a different outlook on how things would go on this server. Despite that, the video clearly shows that Ser Winter simply saw someone with a guy running around nonchalantly and killed him. That is the essence of Rust for most players. He didn't camp Trainwrecks nor did he teabag him afterward. The fact that Trainwrecks was the one who was toxic from the get-go with his " pick me up bitch " and then proceeds to openly flame him in general chat shows that he was the toxic one. His lack of game knowledge, combined with his ego, and clear anger issues didn't even allow him to consider that maybe he didn't see Ser Winter and just got outplayed. He immediately went to an extreme instead of being an adult about the situation. People underestimated how frustrating it could be to die after farming stuff for a while or just getting outplayed in some situations. You can forgive someone for initially lashing out and misunderstanding what happened in a situation. Not just ego for some, but a clear miscommunication amongst some of the larger creators on what this server was supposed to be. Combine that with a general lack of understanding on how to play the game effectively from a mental standpoint and you have a recipe for the extreme butthurt. The fact Trainwrecks auto assumes he was camped and then teabagged proves he was approaching this from an " assholes always do bad shit to me " which auto skewed his perspective. So with his lack of game sense he didn't even comprehend that it was possible he didn't see Ser Winter, on top of how he didn't know how characters move while talking and looting while he was down so he took it like a teabag. You could forgive his misunderstanding of the situation in a vacuum because he didn't know the game that well, but clearly, the guy has ego and anger issues by the way he immediately starts with " pick me up bitch ." then proceeds to flame in open general chat like a child. Any reasonable adult, flustered by frustration or not, wouldn't have doubled down on being a douche like that and for that reason fuck him and anyone that blindly followed in that behavior.

To me you're a legendary Rust content creator. You blend a beautiful mix of pvp, and causual rust play (rp), into your gaming style. From asking people to give you quests as if this were a mmorpg, to playing with new rust players you've just met. I do think it's the name recognition bs. That trainwreck immediately brought up you're from youtube shows this problem so strongly. It's as if many streamers wrongly think that their fame should give them special treatment in the gaming world. Which is super extra mega cringe in games like rust. And anyone who plays rust and doesn't know who you are, likely wouldn't even recognize Vertiigo either, and his avatar is at freaking launch site. Maybe if they learned how the game worked first before streaming it to their viewers they wouldn't have been threatening other smaller channels like Winters for no reason. It's great that they are streaming to a larger audiance and its helped a smaller game dev company like facepunch get more attention but man the toxicity that is going towards smaller channels from bigger streamers right now in this game is really bad. Also everyone gets you die and rust is super sweaty , also people can just be straight up dicks but the point of the server is for it to not be like that it's so to be chill. Yes this server is a PVP server but there were rules saying for players with higher hours to go farther to actually fight good players and allow the new players get more used to the game. The server also was some rp too. This server isn't supposed to be like any normal rust server so some people trying to make content definitely would be mad by dying to some with an insane amount of hrs more than them. I think it got out of hand on everyone's part but whatever ban was made because of a rule broken. But with a server full of big streamers and toxicity drama will happen

@@prawnrl You are wrong, the pvp was allowed in the northern part of the map and it didn't matter how many hours you had that was more for groups. Also I understand a lot of them where first time players but read my comment again. They should have understood what they where getting into when they decided to download the game. It's one of the more brutal pc games that exist right now. I'm not giving these bigger streamers any slack because they where egotistical.

@@slaybomb96 you are so stupid bro, they got into rust to be a streamer server for fun and it was for the most part supposed to be chill and everyone to be on similar levels. Your point is dumb because you are only looking at rust as some brutal and tough game with a community that has adapted to the norm but that's not what this is. It's a streamer server to get away from so much toxicity and to still pvp but not to get the "full rust experience". I also never said pvp wasn't allowed in the north all I said was something that was already in the rules

I remember the day the server launched, me and a few Rust vets who do not even know who the fuck half these people are, strapped in for what was going to inevitably be an extremely entertaining experience. Anyone who has played Rust all sweaty style on either officials or communities whatever saw the following: - The nightmarish no fun of getting greifed and killed in your birthday suit because you existed is literally par for the game - Teeny tiny character flaws that cause disruption in teamplay or co-operation are exacerbated and swollen during the stress rollercoaster of fighting/farming/basebitchin' - "Who took all the syringes off my sleeping body what the fuck" - 30 people seething angry calling each other bitches and rats and Sir Wanker is again, absolutely just par for the course - Also "lol thx for the shit nerd" into a "fk this game I dont even wanna play" in under 45 seconds, absolutely comes with the standard package It was a blast to watch the "Social Experiment" finally be used as something akin to a "Social Experiment". Btw we all failed, barely human. P.s. I love Apex and Lulu is favorite, watching her smile vaporize as the horse rider pulls up and waterpipes her is literally the core, the KERNAL of Rust. Without that we are lumpier minecraft. P.s.s Holy fuck hearing Knut talk about the horse has me rolling, I love that dudes accent P.s.s.s "Yoyoyo" immediately assaults you with a mace, dies. "Make an effort to use voice chat" LOL I can't even. You were supposed to beg and plead and make them feel good in that 0.75 seconds before it connected with your brain.

As someone who has played Rust since legacy when it had zombies, the player base this game has fostered has to be the most sensitive, unstable and depressive group of people I’ve ever encountered. And it’s exactly why I don’t play Rust seriously, or rarely let things bother me. I log in and expect to play for a few hours and lose everything each time. It makes things far easier to enjoy when you start looking at it like this, and removes the incredibly addictive / destructive infinite loop the game has…the same loop that sparks impotent man-boy entitlement rage.

Watching the past 80min, your ban reminds me of my time in a staff discord guild. The headmaster is a busy man, streaming all day and leaving the server in the care of his subordinates while coming online from time to time and interacting with the community in form of events. I was invited to a staff-only guild as a non-staff with titles given to players that will have non-staff functionality on the server. I was part of the idea panel and later also part of beta testers. After two months, the head-admin told me to follow staff rules, but the staff guild did not have any rules, no rules channel, no basic conduct guidelines. I wasn't staff, so I couldn't tell if there were channels for support on probation or above, who could see those channels. They told me over and over to follow the staff rules, after telling me so much I made screenshots of my discord app, apparently, it's in another guild THAT I WAS AND STILL AM NOT IN. On the server, and on the guild, I was told that I can't impersonate staff because I am not staff, and before I joined the panel, I also assumed that I can't do that, yet they told me to follow staff rules. I think they or another server told me to follow "common sense" I repeatedly asked those who told me so to tell me which kind of common sense because the common sense of a non-rust gamer differs heavily from a seasoned rust player. I think you can guess that I am not talking about some rust server but another game's server.

well yeah, if you've ever watch the main twitch community, the streamers that mainly just chat with there chat, they grew up playing the "now classic" games like wow runescape etc..., they mainly entertain the chat, they dont try to play games, which mainly our generation plays today. (i'm not saying anything bad about ser winter, train is like one of those people who grew up playing classic games so when he saw something like crouch repeatedly to make no noise and move fast he will think it's tbagging, but yeah train is whiny alot of time if you dont ever watch his streams, all im saying is dont be surprised when people who are very winy to be good at games or understand the game because they more than likely interpret things the worst way)
