The fact that Stanz just lets everyone do their thing is what makes this show so great.

the show is great because it’s a taskmaster clone haha nothing against that, just an important factor

I remember Stanz mentioning it as a taskmaster clone before, but I actually never saw an episode of Taskmaster. Either way, Lud and Stanz are just a fantastic duo. Hopefully this series keeps going.

It's awesome watching the show find its legs. Don't get me wrong, I've loved both episodes, but episode 2 was a massive step up from 1 (in terms of production) so it's exciting what episode 3 will look like with an even more experience team.

Some people are just naturally funny and Stanz is one of them. Adds so much to have someone who can play either the straight man or the goofball depending on the role the contestant gravitates toward. Classic one liners and just a good sense of timing. Keep it up guy.

Really enjoy these director's commentary style videos. Love hearing about the bits that went on that didn't reach the edit and all else that happened behind the scenes! The new episode felt much less awkward as many rough edges were smoothed out. The mid-job pauses were welcome as they let the cast interact more and should be incorporated in all future episodes. I felt the need for an award at the end of the show, because as of now the end felt quite abrupt. Unhinged Stanz was funny don't worry! Also I hope Jerma uploads the security camera footage or shows it on stream.

I’m definitely here for a lot of the production decision that make this separate from taskmaster. Aka the mid-task banter, Stanz creep vibe rather than copying Alex Horne, etc. It’s even cool that having it on this platform allows Stanz to field ideas from chat, which could really make this show solidify even more into its own vibe.

Loving the show Stanz! Its obvious how much effort and passion is going into it. I had a thought - what if instead of just handing out points and having a scoreboard graphic, Ludwig ranked each player's performance on a tier list? using a classic streamer idea like a tier list could differentiate scoring a bit from TM, since Ludwig doesn't seem to want to be as mean as Greg haha

12:05 I think the pause felt unnatural because for something like Taskmaster there is an audio bed underneath in the form of the audience laughter and when I was watching Unpaid Intern it really threw me off when the video just paused. I don't think a laugh track is a good idea (for obvious reasons) but maybe some more obvious indication that it is a mid job pause, because I think as it stands it feels unnatural

I think my biggest complaint is that less than 1 second into the stream, everyone is talking about shaving butts, not masturbating, and f-bombs like crazy. Honestly, if you can keep it relatively clean for at least the intro, that would help a lot, because I can't take on that kind of energy out of no where, I need to be eased into crazier dialogue like that. On top of that, my dad likes Taskmaster and I would LOVE to suggest similar shows, like this one, but again, when shaving butts and masturbation and sounding can be mentioned in the first 5 minutes, it is fairly impossible to recommend this. It's hard to recommend even just to friends because they hear masturbation and sounding and moans before the first task is even completed and tap out.

I love the show; the format and the tasks are great. But I feel like this group of contestants really fumbled the bag. The lemonade stand was so hard to watch and the name a women section just fell apart so fast. I feel like there were some people on panel who don't understand the "yes and" rule of improv. Lots of naysaying, lots of negativity, lots of shutting people down. Still excited for next episode, though. Can't wait to see what else they cooked up.
@Jeebeo79 ай бұрын
Eh they're different contestants with different senses of humour, I wanna see different kinds of banter, not just the same thing each episode. The yes and rule doesn't literally mean saying yes to everything a character says in improv, it just means accepting the reality your improv partner has set. Like saying "Actually no you didn't do that" as a response is a negation and completely stops the flow of a scene. I think the shutting people down was actually pretty funny because it was just so unexpected. QT's deadpan, dry humour was my (and a lot of other people's) favorite part of the episode.
@Hex...9 ай бұрын
I felt like the vibes were off in this episode compared to the first. It seemed like was a lot more shut-downs and conversation ending comments than there were people riffing off of each other and laughing along.
