If it was said in private, it should have remained private. Who then transformed private remark into a public spectacle, costing David his position as a BGT judge? I probably have made comments in private conversations which cancel culture would find offensive, and thus I could be banned from whatever! If cancel culture can do it to others, then it can also be done to us!

We all say things to people who we think we can trust. Things that are not politically correct. Or how we may have really felt about a situation but couldn't say it at the time without causing friction. Whomever is the one who turned on him is the one who was in the wrong. What a piece of crap. I have opinions about things in my own family that I don't voice to anyone because if it got back it would not be good, so if my friends turned on me and said something, I would feel betrayed. How awful and pissed he must feel, and angry to have to apologize for his opinion.

Looking back on BGT and AGT auditions, Simons facial expressions and comments to whoever was sitting next to him at the time far outweighs any comments made by David privately or openly. Bruno knows the rules and was clearly briefed on them before he signed the contract, all he does is an act which just makes him look an idiot. Bring back David.

Mr Walliams comments were unkind, inappropriate, and demeaning. These remarks were expressed in a PRIVATE conversations and should have been left there. How many of us have made comments or expressed opinions we would not wanted repeated. Cringe ! Lesson… not every thought in your head, needs to come out of you mouth. He offered his apologies to the contestants, the viewers, and his employer. To….. BGT Make a real statement, get off cruifixtion bandwagon, accept the apology, and rehire David.
