That would sadly be very naive to think. Look at who coordinated that latest invasion. Usa, israel and the turks. We all want peace there, but what just happened gives 0% chance of peace in the nearest period. Maybe later on hopefully at least. But isreal wanted syria to fall, so Iran no longer can so easily supply Lebanon and Palestine. Israel long teem plan is "greater israel". Which includes more occupations of Syria territories, Lebanon territories, etc. We can hope for peace and the best. But we need to embrace for how ugly it may become. The first time i heard the freedom of syria,you were the first one who came to my mind.. if what is your reaction and maybe you have a story to share and finally here you are sharing your stories.. when i heard about mazen i cried a lot.. he suffered alot,he was alive but then he was again captured and tortured to death.. to those lives who were taken away unjustly,justice is yours.. i pray that syria will prosper and hope the next ruler will not repeat the mistakes of the past regime.. for the good of your people and your country.. shine syria SHINE!!..
