Nothing happened to Sade. She's still thriving and making music, giving concerts when she chooses to do so. Let's remember all the musicians she came up with who are no longer with us. Prince, MJ, Whitney Houston, etc. Having longevity and being drug free in this industry is amazing. So many others have fallen. I will always love and respect Sade. And this stupid video doesn't add much more to what people (fans) know...The only time when she was more pressured was right after the 2nd album release, because those 2 1st albums were a really intense business and that's why she (and her band members) decided to disappear in between album releases...besides, what matters is the music...why do you need to know their private lives anyway? Only the media and nuts that are vultures living off of it...That constant spotlight is a huge trap most artists fall into unnecessarily, costing their own lives...Sade should be a role model regarding that longevity career management...

Her mysterious and elusive nature has always intrigued the public . She doesn't feel the need to be in the limelight being adulated constantly or by putting her business out there on front street. So many artists need to take a page from her book. Just an all around class act.... That’s right Sade, do your job on the stage or in the studio and thereafter, go home to your life and keep folks out of your business. I don’t know why some in the public have a need to know all about the lives of celebrities. I mean When you go on your job, you don’t feel it apropos to tell all your business to folks on your job (whether it’s coworkers, clients, customers, patients, students, etc.) so why should they?

None of the female artist can step in her shoes, look at the way the woman dress, very sophisticated, and even the way she dance, everything about this woman is class, she makes a positive statement for young ladies of today, stop being half naked on stage. I could go on and on.

Wow, a lot of people would have said forget the band, especially after the band turned her down the first time. And then supposedly they didn't find anyone better to sing. Then _she_ alone gets a deal. A lot of folk would have been like "In your face'" and just left the band.

the fact that she didn't abandon the band is just another indication that the woman has ...class...and that loyalty paid off ...just look at the beautiful music they've produced together...

I think that's an amazing thing. They did give her an opportunity. I think it's good she didn't have that attitude. Now their music has been a soundtrack to countless people's lives. I wonder how different it would've been if they weren't together.

Her singing is the only audible sound I'd ever heard from Sade! What I enjoyed most was hearing her speaking voice! My second favorite was learning more about the mystique that sums up who she is! She's timeless, regardless of her 10 year hiatuses. It dawns on me, she has to "live" life before she can sing about it! And that takes time if you're among those most fortunate living within the same span of time with her!
