So rightfully so… Larissa being his mom, it could be possible that JJ’s dad was behind all the killing instead of it being supernatural or a mental health condition. In order for Jj’s dad to get all those in laws assets he’ll need JJ out the picture. He claimed the estate and property will go to the State, but it truly belongs to JJ, being that he’s Larissa’s son. The heir to the throne pretty much, because gramps had no sons… he had his grandson tho… and when JJ’s biol dad went and spoke to Shoupe he threw the group under the bus and said they were near when Gramps died. Gramps was also strangled at the neck his autopsy showed along with the man from the beach. Who I feel JJ’s dad hired for something and didn’t commit to, and knew a secret, so killed him… that’s what that was about… weird how they both gramps and random guy at the beach both have similar strangle marks and died the same way… summing it up… JJs dad killed off the family to take the families assets, his plan failed when Gramps reached out to his grandson. His daughters son. JJ. The rightful heir to all family assets. To the island itself!
