They really are great locos the 73s better without all that ugly gubbins that's on the front buffer beam .Rip all that crap off the front and get it back to looking original . The EDs are still running around on the national network and that's a great testament to what reliable locos they are .Big up English Electric prime movers !!.

@@matthew0605 Look forward for to the 29th September as the East Kent Railway has a diesel electric day with 73130 and a Class 08 running the only gatwick express set in preservation! Only thing I'd say is that's its good she has kept the Schengen coupling as it has made her one of a kind 73 that has it! you never know she may have a eurostar power car behind her at somepoint as intended 😏
