one piece is dragonball done right....db has too much going on and no real rules so it just feels like its all over the place...one piece is dragonball with grounded rules that make it a lot better ...for example the sea stone being kryptonite to devil fruit users is a key plot point no one mentions...its vital...same for devil fruit users not being able to swim....how there is a strong world government who are antagonists to the hero and its not as bland as the bad humans in dragonball outside of what tao and tenshinhan?...no other humans really can challenge goku.luffy can't just own akainu and kizaru and aokiji..heck even with his crew he got owned by the weakest of the three lol...loved that...theres no senzu bean in one piece or after life...stuff like space travel made dragonball weird.....and time travel..its just too much man...

What pissed me off as a kid is that Goku gained 100x stronger by training 7 days on the traject to namek. See Goku being soo confident on his child that he gived Cell a senzu bean even tho Gohan would've been killed, like, 100 times because he didn't wanted to fight, at all. Buu saga is the bargain sale for power-up and plot-holes

@@Matt-wc2js Don't forget, it's 6/7 years after Buu pure's death. Goku did'nt fucking grew a bit. I stop DB at the Cell saga. Buu saga is like a OAV or a "movie" to me. GT is the second OAV. Super is a side-story of the end of the buu saga, a "what if some character stronger than hell and heaven existed"

I agree with all only with Buu saga not,cause there is some Epic stuff in that saga that we will never forget and that we can watch anytime. If you can watch some show like 1000 times then it good for sure. For me what ruin dragon ball was super for sure. I didn't have that much problems with first movie as second one with Friza. I thought like it gonna be okay,Friza gonna fight Gohan and others but no they all got one shoot Piccolo who we later see is much stronger then Gohan Ssj2 but in these movie Gohan ssj1 was stronger then Piccolo??? Then Goten and Trunks Fuse and they come to fight but time runs and they defuse how????? Goku comes turns Blue that we never seen before and Friza is stronger???? 17 is strong as Blue cause he gets Punch by Jiren many times and he can take a hit good as Vegeta and Goku?? +He damage Jiren which even Hit could not do and he block powerd up Jiren attack by destroy himslef??? long post bout my own views on this, feel free to skip right along mmmh if a major problem with BoG was 6 saiyans pure of heart putting their hands together to make a god shouldn't your problems start with Namek apart from Zenkai boosts Green 'Bese Toad palmed Krillin and Gohan into relevance Gohan enraged is absurdly overpowered for no reason + now Potential unlocked? shit man the Golden Freeza problem is also connected to this as you've taken issue with Goten and Trunks what about Gohan? man turned SSJ 2 cuz of some robot he's never met before characters like Tien and Vegeta dont get this treatment though cuz... TIen and Yamcha were my favorites back in the day before it became Vegeta they got a bad wrap Yamcha doing baseball and becoming a billionaire i'd say is in the same category as Tien opening up a dojo just an excuse to write these characters out of the story as fans wouldn't let Toriyama forget about them like he did Launch Yamcha didn't develop as a person, he switched occupations and made a lot of money he's the same guy... while Tien actually regressed he doesn't even remember half his techniques and his brain has melted inside his own skull to the point where he's even dumber than he was in early dragon ball, making poor usage of his cloning technique and in Super he's now weaker than even Roshi there are people who want to believe Super was so bad that it can be ignored Dragon Ball wasnt great either and the issues to come were foreshadowed since the early stages of power creep we all, myself included, have our nostalgia glasses on

9 is already too high for DBZ. Cell Saga made no sense with robots being able to fight a Super Saiyan. I don't care what excuse you use. Goku destroyed the Red Ribbon Army as a child when he was weaker than King Piccolo without even half his power. Now these stupid Androids can put a fight against a Super Saiyan? Get out of here. Boo Saga blue balled us hard and wasted so many characters. It was pretty much the Saiyan show. Piccolo is a goofball now. I can't give it higher than a 7. The only good things we got at that time are some of great movies like Legendary Super Saiyan redeeming Super Saiyan, Fusion Reborn and Wrath the Dragon. BoG is dogshit. Why didn't all do the Ritual on each other so all get that pink Super Saiyan form that doesn't even look like a Super Saiyan. What are good episodes of Super? I don't even remember a single good thing about that garbage. U6 arc is just an inferior version of DBZ's other world tournament. You know that filler with Paikuhan. There are so many things U6 arc stole from that story arc but inferior. They made Yamcha a meme in Super and completely disrespected him.
