Mr. Bendy looks like a nice cable to have it in your bag everyday. I like it.

I see no reason to buy Ubiquiti's expensive cables. Ethernet is a spec for a reason, any in-spec cable will work, and, it's honestly hard to find cables that aren't nowadays.

Correct. They may have a place for some people and that was the idea of the video as we got asked a lot of questions about why would I buy them.

Do I need to buy UACC-Cable-DoorLockRelay-1P the cable from Ubiquiti for Door access? Or can I use any other similar one? I don’t need 100meter worth. Only 5m
@The_Tech_Geeks4 ай бұрын
No, you can use standard 12v cable if you choose.

Yep, but I reckon most people will realise it is not 15mm. I had made like 3 hours of videos by that time :D

I would call them underspeced. Just like Chinese flat cables. Manufacturers can print anything on a cable. But standard CAT6A 26AWG S/FTP patch cables are up to spec. I would not go with any thin or flat cable :) Wonder how hot they get if used with PoE++ at maximum length.
@The_Tech_Geeks9 ай бұрын
That is a good point, but these max out at 8m, probably for that exact reason. These are only designed for short patching work really.
