I have to give props where it's due. I received a hand written letter from Nick himself and his business card thanking me for ordering and letting me know his thoughts . Who does that anymore ???? Rinseless is phenomenal as expected 👏. Props to these guys actually "caring " and providing quality products but also going the extra mile and making sure good sprayers and bottles are used etc... at first I thought it was a gift card but I was still shocked at the letter !! Thank you Nick and Ivan , this is how you do business !

I was a little hesitate to get these products not like there is not enough of these on the market. I pulled the trigger and bought the bottles of the polish, ceramic gloss and the yellow polish pad, and the rinseless wash. I was impressed with the ease of use and the results were amazing, that I have reordered in gallons waiting for it to arrive. I am Canadian like Yvan I wanted to try his stuff and wow I am a fan of DIY DETAIL. Thanks guys from a DIY weekender. Ottawa Ontario Canada.

I always try to do dry carpet extractions; helps me save so much time and money for typically the same result. For the diy, they would still like that if possible. A dedicated tire cleaner that really, really cleans the tire. I haven’t tried all clean but most APC’s don’t match what a dedicated tire cleaner does. Dedicated clay lube for these diy people that want a specific product. I love every product and some of the products you guys have nobody else is close to or touching. Awesome products, and some awesome guys with a a great reputation and lots of knowledge!

Yes! LOVE the Tolco sprayers you guys include. For next product development ideas, how about an encap system that works well with Yvan's low-moisture Bonnet-style carpet/upholstery methods. Most DIY folks might not have a rotary, but most have a cordless drill...

There’s a carpet cleaning company called Encap Store that’s developing aerosol versions of their most popular Encap cleaner. That would be a neat idea here. Aerosol foam is a great product for the DIYer who only handles the occasional stains. And if it didn’t need to be rinsed away? Even better!

A warm hello to you DIY Detail team! I just used today for the first time your mineral deposit remover (I can't go back to calling it a water spot remover... Just can't 🤣) and it's godlike tier chemical!!!!! I had a wheel coating that was like 4 months old and driven only in dry but heavy break dust but cleaned rgulary - still it clogged, few magical sprays later - boom.. Beads all over. I NEVER used such a high performing chemical (as most of them just eat up the coating or compromise it in some way) and I want it.. I just need it in my life, so it will be my first one to ask you for a gallon of it, I would buy it in an instant and I would use it often as I need to unclog the wheels often (even though I use DI water on them.. why the buildup 🤔) and the sprayers are amazing, the scents are amazing in your products as well. Gosh I just enjoy your lineup the more I buy the more I want it. Next will be your Gold standard polish - just waiting for the mashines to come to EU

Yuuuuup, love the sprayers that come with your products guys. Just started dipping into All Clean myself as a DIYer, I quickly bought the gallon; it's just so good and versatile. It's become my wheel cleaner, pre-wash on lower panels during rinseless wash, some tougher interior jobs with the kids in the back seat at 30:1 when my standard interior cleaner doesn't work, I just learned about using it a salt stain cleaner at 15:1 from Yvan himself in a different video, and yes rubber floor mats as well (though do you try 30:1 with rubber mats or just jump in with 15:1?).

Car wash Ideas: 1. Graphene car wash: regular soap and rinseless, McKee’s 37 is the only one I know has one but not sure if the graphics for better cleaning ability or protection. 2. Car wash and wax: regular soap and rinseless with synthetic waxes to make the paint glow as if you’ve just waxed the car 3. Si02 car wash: regular and rinseless 4. A gloss enchantment car wash and rinseless wash. Chemical guys has a soap called Glossworks, would like more on the market. I’m know you guys are about keeping it simple but these are just ideas. Combine them all into one…never seen on the market yet I’m sure. 😉 Like that you guys are NO BS, simple, telling as it is. Love the podcast and education videos you have. Learning something new. As a pro, I tend to not even bother a product not available as concentrate or in a gallon. For more than a decade I've wanted to try Larry's line, ammo, and I just can't bring myself to do it as he clearly has no interest in supporting or providing chems to pros. I greatly appreciate you guys offering in gallons. I'm anxiously awaiting my orders to arrive and I would have probably tried the line because I trust you two greatly, but I wouldn't have gobbled it up so quick if it wasn't available in gallons. From what I've heard/ my trust in you guys, this stuff is far to good to avoid selling to pros, and the purely diy guy with one car, the gallon will make you more money too imo as no one will use up a 16oz of a killer chemical and not buy the gallon right afterwards. The next product I'd like to see is a stupid simple stain removal system, and especially something similar to opt carpet and fabric. That stuff is absolutely magical and I know a more modern take on that product would be unbeatable! The absolute best chemical for headliners imo!

I love the products and the customer service! As I run out of products I'm replacing them with DIY details products because I've had such a good experience with them. I'd love to see a glass sealant/coating, like AM Rain. I'd also love to see something like Gyeon Can Coat. A 1 year sprayable coating would be amazing. I don't have the space to put a car in a garage for a full blown ceramic coating, but something that cures in a few hours and can be topped at that point would be fantastic! As an Uber driver, when my customers comment on how glossy and good the car looks, I tell them to check out your products and they won't be disappointed!

Your products are phenomenal. I’m not a business, just wash our own cars and it’s so therapeutic and calming. Thanks to the BF sale I picked up some refresher supplies and am now wishing I’d just bought gallons, seriously loving everything i bought. I’ll be back for more. The clay towel? Wow. Followed Yvan’s instructions and did a couple panels and half the hood on my mother’s 17 yr old car and it now looks brand new. Hey she babies her car and has kept it because it’s the most reliable car she’s ever had and it’s just a great crossover for her. Car washes, both wish brushes and brushless is all she’s ever done, so yes the paint is not pristine and has never been detailed but… all these products just make it look fabulous and the clay towel is just that last step that made it gorgeous. That iron remover truly didn’t smell awful and a couple sprays did the job so it’s a great value. Oh and tI’he sprayers are so comfortable and work well. Big thumbs up for that choice! In the past Ive just bought sprayers for like welding, those are usually top notch for comfort and durability.

Very interesting topic but a very necessary conversation to have. Myself I'm not a professional however, for myself incredible suds and rinseless I'd buy in a gallon those I'd use more of. The iron remover possibly, it all depends like you said: do you need a full gallon, it certainly is more cost effective. Great video! I'm curious about the undercarriage of vehicles especially in harsh winter. I'm wondering if you can coat with quick beads or maybe a water activated protectant that you can put in a foam cannon to help with salt and rust

Yvan has taught that carnauba spray wax works great as a perforated clay towel lube because of the perforation mixed with the thickness of the lube makes for a virtually mar free finish. What I would love to see is a thick clay lube that leaves as little protection behind as possible-if none at all. That way I can use it with my clay towel prior to an alternate LSP, polishing, or coating--without worry of marring the surface. I know rinseless can make a great clay lube but this would make for a more universal lubricant that would be a hole in many peoples arsenals. Better yet if you could have it flash away, or be polymer based, so the user could continue on without the need to buff it off

Great point on the iron remover. I got a 17oz bottle of another company’s iron remover about a year ago and have used it probably 5 times. I’ve used about a third of the bottle. What areas do you find an all purpose cleaner to be useful? The only places I use mine currently are the pedals, gas doors, and the occasional prewash if it’s really dirty.

Love the channel, the team and the product line and here is my 2 cents: 1) Can you dilute Rinseless Wash as a Waterless Wash??? What dilution??? 2) Can you dilute Rinseless Wash as a Clay Lube??? What dilution??? 3) Amazing sprayers and pricing, please dont change that, it is one of the things that sets you apart 4) Would like to see a car interior cleaner that can be used on: leather, hard plastics, piano black, natural wood veneer, carpets, fabrics, alcantara and leave nothing behind other than a fresh nice subtle scent. No protection, no UV inhibitors, just a pure cleaner that is dilutable so user decides strength. Maybe from using it straight to maybe a 1:3 or 1:5. 5) A little outside the box but would like to see a self leveling spray coating, so wipe on and walk away that gives around 1yr durability with high gloss and hydrophobicity 6) Another great product would be an insane gloss enhancer in a form of drying aid/lubricant. Durability no more than 5-7 days, just pure gloss gloss and slickness thanks Nick & Ivan, you guys are will change the industry...

Thank you! We can help with a few of your great suggestions. 1: yes, 128/1, or use it in a foamer at 256/1. 2: For clay lube keep it at 256/1 3: thank you 4: use our Rinseless wash at 256/1 you can go to 128/1 if needed. 5: DIY Detail Quick Beads will give you an easy 4 months protection, and it’s as easy as spray on , Rinse off, enjoy. 6: DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss fits that bill, with the exception of durability, 5-7 months is better than 5-7 days.

Professional vs home use is a huge difference for everything detail oriented. Home use just means using what works best for you and your personal preferences regardless of cost. Professional means using ONLY what you need for what needs it and essentially investing in products that do that in the most economical way. With that being said, DIY Detail is NOT ideal for professional use. Home use? Absolutely. Is it pro-grade? Sure, I’m sure many would argue for that. But just because something is pro-grade does not mean it transitions for pro applications. For example, I’ve known many pro detailers who bought in to the Chemical Guys, Griots, Adam’s, Gyeon, etc., brands. Are they still professional detailers now? No, well mostly no. Those that transitioned to actual professional detailing products are still operating. Why? Because real professional detailing products are economical and effective … and that’s really all you need. I get it. Boutique detailing supplies are great … for home use. But let’s be real, detailing 3-5 vehicles a day using boutique detailing products is exponentially more expensive than using regular professional detailing products. Those are just facts. No, regular professional detailing products aren’t glamorous, popular on KZbin, cool sounding, come in rgb led bottles, have angel tears or smell like cookies and cream. They are designed to be effective and economical. That’s it. It’s ultimately about the bottom line = enabling the professional detailer the ability to maximize profit while delivering the goods. The math … For 3 gallons of water, 3 ounces of soap ($1.98) per wash times 4 ($7.92) vehicles a day times 5 days a week = $39.60 That’s IF you don’t use a cannon or pre-soak. Now take the same scenario with a standard professional soap, you get 3 gallons of water using 3 ounces of soap ($.42) per wash times 4 ($1.68) vehicles a day times 5 days a week = $8.40 Do you see the difference? Now keep in mind, this applies to ALL detailing products not just soap or APC. It’s everything. You are not going to be as profitable using boutique products as you would using regular professional products. ‘Oh well just charge more for the detail” said no successful professional detailer ever. Typical basic details range from $250-$350, people charging more than that aren’t detailers, they’re con artists. Bah …. steering off course here a bit. The point here is that nobody is ever going to argue the effectiveness of DIY Detail products. I’m sure a ton of research and development went in to each product. But make no mistake, a true professional detailer is NOT going to be using these products in a professional environment. And if they do, they won’t for long. It’s just not a sustainable solution. But using these types of products for home use is a no brainer for those inclined to have the best. EDIT: Just realized how long this was. Apologies. 😊😊😊

What is the RTU dilution of the 16 Oz. All Clean? Also, I am not seeing a Tar remover in your lineup, which would be nice? What size is the clay towel, you show it as 9X9, but some places show 12x12?
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 2 жыл бұрын
The 16oz All Clean is the equivalent of 15/1. Tar remover is in the current R&D rotation. The clay towel is 12x12, thank you for catching that, we will correct our website.

Is All Clean one your chemicals that you are not a able to store in the 16 oz bottle in a concentrated form because of the type of plastic vs the plastic used for the gallon?

For a product tester like myself that shares the experience on my channel then small bottles or my garage would be full of gallon size containers. But good to have both to refill the bottle. By the way can all clean be used on interiors? Also why ceramic instead of Graphene for the paint coating? Good stuff guys.
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, dilute the concentrated All Clean 30/1 for interiors. The All Clean in the 16oz bottle should be diluted 2/1 for interiors. For the coating we wanted simplicity of installation above all else. That said new items are always in development.

I would love to buy the sprayer with the exact bottle you use 1. I can't seem to find them 2. I'd really love empty sprayers with the specific product labels on so I can buy the gallon jugs and save some $ on not purchasing filled spray bottles.

If a product is great, load up by getting it in gallons. Rinseless Wash, incredible suds, and glass cleaner. Price is what you pay, value is what you get. How about an oleophobic Graphene Oxide Ceramic Coating?

Thanks for the feedback, I agree about the gallons. We are currently developing a number of products, very likely there will be another coating at some point …. But these things take time

As someone who loves detailing. I am interested in a compound that finish down well smells good. Also why isn't there a microfiber pad on the market with a beveled edge? They make wool and foam beveled but not a microfiber pad? Any answer for that? Rupes makes microfiber pads not beveled same with B&S with their great Uro fiber Pads. Also maybe a spray coating? A lot of spray coatings on the market claim 1 year. Even when tested and taken care of gave 7 months tops with average beading. Carnauba spray wax? That's all I have so far 😂

You will love the Gold Standard Polishing System. No plans for a MF pad, but we have a cutting pad in the works. DIY Detail Quick Beads can really be considered a spray coating ( as long as you don’t use too much😉

Being in Canada I have a problem(s) 1) No body oiffers free shipping to Canada. 2) trhis time of year detailing my car is difficult because it is COLDer - so products that work in Cold (that is below 32*F of 0*C. That would be a break through for the northern clinmates. Now your chemist really has a challenge. How many products can fit that requesst?
