A dedicated tire cleaner that really, really cleans the tire. I haven’t tried all clean but most APC’s don’t match what a dedicated tire cleaner does. Dedicated clay lube for these diy people that want a specific product. I love every product and some of the products you guys have nobody else is close to or touching. A warm hello to you DIY Detail team! I just used today for the first time your mineral deposit remover (I can't go back to calling it a water spot remover... Just can't 🤣) and it's godlike tier chemical!!!!! I had a wheel coating that was like 4 months old and driven only in dry but heavy break dust but cleaned rgulary - still it clogged, few magical sprays later - boom.. Beads all over. I NEVER used such a high performing chemical (as most of them just eat up the coating or compromise it in some way) and I want it.. I just need it in my life, so it will be my first one to ask you for a gallon of it, I would buy it in an instant and I would use it often as I need to unclog the wheels often (even though I use DI water on them.. why the buildup 🤔) and the sprayers are amazing, the scents are amazing in your products as well. Gosh I just enjoy your lineup the more I buy the more I want it. Next will be your Gold standard polish - just waiting for the mashines to come to EU

As a pro, I tend to not even bother a product not available as concentrate or in a gallon. For more than a decade I've wanted to try Larry's line, ammo, and I just can't bring myself to do it as he clearly has no interest in supporting or providing chems to pros. I greatly appreciate you guys offering in gallons. I'm anxiously awaiting my orders to arrive and I would have probably tried the line because I trust you two greatly, but I wouldn't have gobbled it up so quick if it wasn't available in gallons. From what I've heard/ my trust in you guys, this stuff is far to good to avoid selling to pros, and the purely diy guy with one car, the gallon will make you more money too imo as no one will use up a 16oz of a killer chemical and not buy the gallon right afterwards. The next product I'd like to see is a stupid simple stain removal system, and especially something similar to opt carpet and fabric. That stuff is absolutely magical and I know a more modern take on that product would be unbeatable! The absolute best chemical for headliners imo!

Your products are phenomenal. I’m not a business, just wash our own cars and it’s so therapeutic and calming. Thanks to the BF sale I picked up some refresher supplies and am now wishing I’d just bought gallons, seriously loving everything i bought. I’ll be back for more. The clay towel? Wow. Followed Yvan’s instructions and did a couple panels and half the hood on my mother’s 17 yr old car and it now looks brand new. Hey she babies her car and has kept it because it’s the most reliable car she’s ever had and it’s just a great crossover for her. Car washes, both wish brushes and brushless is all she’s ever done, so yes the paint is not pristine and has never been detailed but… all these products just make it look fabulous and the clay towel is just that last step that made it gorgeous. That iron remover truly didn’t smell awful and a couple sprays did the job so it’s a great value. Oh and tI’he sprayers are so comfortable and work well. Big thumbs up for that choice! In the past Ive just bought sprayers for like welding, those are usually top notch for comfort and durability.

Very interesting topic but a very necessary conversation to have. Myself I'm not a professional however, for myself incredible suds and rinseless I'd buy in a gallon those I'd use more of. The iron remover possibly, it all depends like you said: do you need a full gallon, it certainly is more cost effective. Great video! I'm curious about the undercarriage of vehicles especially in harsh winter. I'm wondering if you can coat with quick beads or maybe a water activated protectant that you can put in a foam cannon to help with salt and rust

Yvan has taught that carnauba spray wax works great as a perforated clay towel lube because of the perforation mixed with the thickness of the lube makes for a virtually mar free finish. What I would love to see is a thick clay lube that leaves as little protection behind as possible-if none at all. That way I can use it with my clay towel prior to an alternate LSP, polishing, or coating--without worry of marring the surface. I know rinseless can make a great clay lube but this would make for a more universal lubricant that would be a hole in many peoples arsenals. Better yet if you could have it flash away, or be polymer based, so the user could continue on without the need to buff it off

Love the channel, the team and the product line and here is my 2 cents: 1) Can you dilute Rinseless Wash as a Waterless Wash??? What dilution??? 2) Can you dilute Rinseless Wash as a Clay Lube??? What dilution??? 3) Amazing sprayers and pricing, please dont change that, it is one of the things that sets you apart 4) Would like to see a car interior cleaner that can be used on: leather, hard plastics, piano black, natural wood veneer, carpets, fabrics, alcantara and leave nothing behind other than a fresh nice subtle scent. No protection, no UV inhibitors, just a pure cleaner that is dilutable so user decides strength. Maybe from using it straight to maybe a 1:3 or 1:5. 5) A little outside the box but would like to see a self leveling spray coating, so wipe on and walk away that gives around 1yr durability with high gloss and hydrophobicity 6) Another great product would be an insane gloss enhancer in a form of drying aid/lubricant. Durability no more than 5-7 days, just pure gloss gloss and slickness thanks Nick & Ivan, you guys are will change the industry...
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
Thank you! We can help with a few of your great suggestions. 1: yes, 128/1, or use it in a foamer at 256/1. 2: For clay lube keep it at 256/1 3: thank you 4: use our Rinseless wash at 256/1 you can go to 128/1 if needed. 5: DIY Detail Quick Beads will give you an easy 4 months protection, and it’s as easy as spray on , Rinse off, enjoy. 6: DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss fits that bill, with the exception of durability, 5-7 months is better than 5-7 days.

Professional vs home use is a huge difference for everything detail oriented. Home use just means using what works best for you and your personal preferences regardless of cost. Professional means using ONLY what you need for what needs it and essentially investing in products that do that in the most economical way. With that being said, DIY Detail is NOT ideal for professional use. Home use? Absolutely. Is it pro-grade? Sure, I’m sure many would argue for that. But just because something is pro-grade does not mean it transitions for pro applications. For example, I’ve known many pro detailers who bought in to the Chemical Guys, Griots, Adam’s, Gyeon, etc., brands. Are they still professional detailers now? No, well mostly no. Those that transitioned to actual professional detailing products are still operating. Why? Because real professional detailing products are economical and effective … and that’s really all you need. I get it. Boutique detailing supplies are great … for home use. But let’s be real, detailing 3-5 vehicles a day using boutique detailing products is exponentially more expensive than using regular professional detailing products. Those are just facts. No, regular professional detailing products aren’t glamorous, popular on KZbin, cool sounding, come in rgb led bottles, have angel tears or smell like cookies and cream. They are designed to be effective and economical. That’s it. It’s ultimately about the bottom line = enabling the professional detailer the ability to maximize profit while delivering the goods. The math … For 3 gallons of water, 3 ounces of soap ($1.98) per wash times 4 ($7.92) vehicles a day times 5 days a week = $39.60 That’s IF you don’t use a cannon or pre-soak. Now take the same scenario with a standard professional soap, you get 3 gallons of water using 3 ounces of soap ($.42) per wash times 4 ($1.68) vehicles a day times 5 days a week = $8.40 Do you see the difference? Now keep in mind, this applies to ALL detailing products not just soap or APC. It’s everything. You are not going to be as profitable using boutique products as you would using regular professional products. ‘Oh well just charge more for the detail” said no successful professional detailer ever. Typical basic details range from $250-$350, people charging more than that aren’t detailers, they’re con artists. Bah …. steering off course here a bit. The point here is that nobody is ever going to argue the effectiveness of DIY Detail products. I’m sure a ton of research and development went in to each product. But make no mistake, a true professional detailer is NOT going to be using these products in a professional environment. And if they do, they won’t for long. It’s just not a sustainable solution. But using these types of products for home use is a no brainer for those inclined to have the best. EDIT: Just realized how long this was. Apologies. 😊😊😊

To Nick’s point, it isn’t stupid to offer gallons. Word of mouth growth favors the value proposition.

Being in Canada I have a problem(s) 1) No body oiffers free shipping to Canada. 2) trhis time of year detailing my car is difficult because it is COLDer - so products that work in Cold (that is below 32*F of 0*C. That would be a break through for the northern clinmates. Now your chemist really has a challenge. How many products can fit that requesst?
@diydetailofficial2 жыл бұрын
Many fit that if you use hot water. At the moment Carzilla is our distributor.

Your product All Clean 16oz (RTU) makes no sense! What is the dilution ratio? Is it 15:1 or 30:1? Can it be used on the interior or exterior? You guys have to make up your mind..........!
@diydetailofficial2 жыл бұрын
It’s 15/1 which is our recommended dilution for exterior use.
