Our country, the US, is a plutocracy, for the rich, pure and simple. We're barely a first world country at this point. So glad I'm healthy and don't have to deal with the healthcare system we have! Thanks Charlie for showing these things about the US. I'm moving to Europe, no question about it. For anyone who doubts this-- look up where the US ranks in education, healthcare affordability, etc.

Don't care for a good healthcare system is a bad idea. One little accident can ruin your life with healthcare cost and don't forget if you get something that takes time to heal you have not safe job - many states can fire you without cause and being ill for a longer time is a good reason for many US employers to do just that. Better have a good healthcare system and not need it than not having a good healthcare system and need it. One should support to get a good healthcare system even if you don't need one now. You never know when you need it in the future.

Tax. I'm 43. I've never filled out a form to do with tax. I've never had to do anything with tax. It comes out of my pay before I get it. So my pay is my pay. Every year I get a letter showing what my tax was used for.. If I paid to much, it automatically gets paid back to me. If I paid little its adjusted for the following year

That asian person who was cussing did not have a thick 'asian' accent, she had a thick russian accent and she even cussed in russian a bit XD In case you didn't know, Russia as a country has more than 2/3 east of the Ural mountains and the Bosporus, in Asia. The vast majority of the population (90% more or less) lives in the european part though. The eastern part is mainly populated by ethnic tribes, native minorities and descendants of north korean refugees (my mom told me there was a time when Siberia was flooded with them, the government and the population called it in a very racist sense 'the yellow wave'). The further east you go in Russia, the more and more people look 'asian' and the less 'european' looking citizens you have. And you also have many people who look mixed. I had for example here in Germany a class mate, the girl looked very similar to his asian lady who was cussing except that she had super pale skin that was really paper white, platinum blond super long hair and grey-blue eyes. But asian facial features and she was tiny and had that very slender and delicate body frame that most people think of when they hear 'asian woman'.

Sweden: It doesn't matter too much if you're married or just live together; if you separate you have to split most things you've bought during the relationship, like the house, married or not. 7 weeks paid vacation is if not standard, not unheard of, for everybody, not only teachers.

For that asian girl, that was clearly a russian accent and also behaviour. Of course the question is, is it wrong to call it an asian accent, since a big part of Russia is in asia ? Good question 🤔 But still, in the end it sound way more similiar to other east european countrys. I still wonder how many people outside the US even knew the word "deductible" before thay heared of the messed up US health BUSINESS .. and yes its a business and not a service. Calling it a service is maybe the real scam here.

The one talking out dating and marriage was living in her reality. It´s not the only way. A relationship hinges on way more, I agree with you. With the summer vacation in education; Me being from Europe, us also having this, but also paid vacation, etc. I get points she is making on how things are looked down upon, and other stuff. Not so much behind her reasoning why there is such thing as summer holiday in education. Not because it's hot and there being no airconditioning.

I disagree with the teacher about summer break and her reasoning. What I agree with is that a teachers summer break should be paid. Depending on the year we have 6 or more weeks in summer and for example in Greece, Italy and Portugal they have up to 3 months summer break because of heat. Teacher are paid as long as they are employed and not with a break in summer. Unlike the USA you are not employed for one school year you are employed for life meaning until you go yourself or you are fired you get paid every month in the year. Thee problems she listed like the unprivileged kids should not be a teachers problem, but that of a countries social network that is sadly bad and a scam in the USA.

What do you expect. In the USA you have to pay for education and go into debt. It's like in the medieval times where an apprentice had to pay the master. in the USA everything is a business where the little people pay for things that are free in other countries. Unlike in Europe where learning to be a nurse is mostly vocational education, it's a bachelor degree or a (science) diploma in the USA (incl. the high costs for college) and you are only a registered nurse doing one of three paths getting the knowledge (bachelor, science diploma or diploma) and after that after passing a central qualification test. Part of bachelor or diploma is a mandatory internship and that is what she was talking about. She does an internship she pays for and has to pay for a parking space as a student nurse, when she in fact is a free work resource for the hospital.

16:06 Asian accent? What is that supposed to be? There are over 2300 different languages spoken by about 200 different ethnicities in Asia. Do you wanna tell me that a Persian (Farsi) accent sounds like a Japanese one or an Indonesian like a Bengali? In this woman's case I would define it as a Russian accent. But it might also be an accent from another Slavic language spoken in an Asian country which once belonged to the USSR.

It is a russian accent. She even cussed in russian a bit, actually in 'Matt' which is a russian sub language that is made out of cuss words only (originated in russian prisons). Even her first name and her surname is russian. Russia is 2/3 in Asia anyways and even though the tiniest part of the russian population actually lives in Asia, it is mostly ethnical minorities and natives whose ancestors have been living there for centuries or millenia, so they are ethnically russian. Oh, and descendants of north korean refugees who came in masses to Siberia and the Eastern region of Russia, before shite went down over there entirely.
