As a Air Force young guy with family who spent 2+ years on Guam in the 1980's we love to try to make Chamorro dishes. Very good video. Thanks!

I miss Guam so much. It’s so annoying that I can’t find Calamansi or Donne peppers in the states

Thanks, I can throw my own little Chamorro Fiesta in the back yard now. Probably the only house in New Orleans doing it, cause I ain't seen this delicacy since I lived in Dededo.

I've never seen a red rice with peas in it before (though I know about the bacon method). Peas were never something I liked so I will leave that out. Since you added enough citric acid (lemon juice) I know I won't need the usual vinegar that goes into the chicken marinade. Great job on the presentation of this recipe set bruh. Keep cookin'!

Ciara Pirote best soy sauce is kikoman it's most likely what he used tastes really good on the BBQ

I like your video, your marinade is just like my friends mother who was from Guam. The basic. Soy Sauce, water onions and lemons. I like this simple basic great flavor. I see others adding all these other things like sugar coke and other thing. My friends family always did it this way. I pretty much do the same sometimes I may add other things. we always did this for pork and chicken.
