Hi, Mandy! My grandma made a strawberry pie that appears to be much this recipe. I’ve nvr known what her recipe was and my mom didn’t have i either. I haven’t had a strawberry pie like hers since we lost her. I’m so anxious to try this to see if it’s similar enough to her recipe. Ofc, my tastebuds may have also built up her recipe in my mind to where nothing will ever match up lol, but I’m gonna give this a go. Pls know that myself and everyone on here is praying for Stephen, his mom, and ur family! 🙏🏻❤️

Marvette - your french onion chicken is amazing. I took a chance making thos for the family because my kids dont like onions but I cook with them anyway and make them pick em out. Even my kids loved this (picking the fresh onions out). As with classic french onion soup, I had some provolone cheese I added to the top with the fried onions. Soooo good. Thank you. And Mandy - since watching your videos, you jave given me so much inspiration to start making delicious meal plans, which the whole family is loving and so is my bank account. I use grocery pickup each week and i cant imagine doing it any other way now.

Mandy, if you were to take small flour tortillas, you can spread refried beans on it , then wrap the soft shell around the hard shell, you will be able to eat the hard taco and the soft shell will hold it together. Just saying.

Mandy,I have been a subscriber for a while now, but I’ve never written to you...but I do enjoy your videos!! I just had to write you about the Strawberry Pie you made. It looks luscious, but our favorite strawberry dessert is a Strawberry Poke Cake (& I will bet that Steven & Cole would like it too!). I’m sure you’ve seen this dessert many times on Pinterest, but you start out by baking a yellow cake in a 9” x 12” pan; while the cake is baking, you make up a large package of Strawberry Jello, but I put a little less water than the Jello calls for...I get the Jello stirred up & as soon as the cake comes out of the oven, I poke holes all over the cake, then immediately pour the still-warm Jello over the cake making sure to cover the whole cake with the Jello. I cover the cake & put it in the fridge until the Jello sets up. While that happens, I chop up some fresh picked strawberries, add sugar to taste...after the chopped strawberries have rendered their juice, just put them in the fridge until the cake is finished jelling. After dinner, pull the cake, the chopped strawberries & a large container of Cool Whip from the fridge...put most of the strawberry juice into a separate bowl & mix the rest into most of the Cool Whip using a hand mixer, or whatever you have. Now, frost the cake with the Cool Whip mixture & if I have any whole berries left over, I usually cut them in quarters & sprinkle over the cake. Then cut & serve. If you take the rest of the Cool Whip (or you can make your own whipped cream) & mix the juice you have left over from the chopped berries you used in the frosting of the cake, it will taste very much like a strawberry mousse. Now this Strawberry Poke Cake is about one of the lightest & most refreshing cakes that I’ve ever had...& my family agrees!!! Sorry that I’ve been so wordy...I didn’t mean to take up so much of your time reading my post, but when I saw your Strawberry Pie, I knew I had to tell you about one of my family’s favorite cakes. Thank you for all your entertaining videos...& I just love your little “bloopers” you sometimes add at the end. God bless you, Steven & Cole...I am fond of you all!!!

I love using that French Onion Soup. I love putting a Chuck Roast in my crockpot with 1 can of French Onion Soup and 2 cans of Cream of Mushroom. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. The 2 soups combine to make the most delicious gravy ever. It is perfectly thick and beefy. I often will add carrots to the crock and then I serve it with mashed potatoes for the perfect meal. So easy and so delicious. Your dinners this week all look good.

Did Gracie get her cheese? 🤣 All the recipes look really good. I've heard of those taco shells but I never think to look for them when we go to the store. I think of my Mom every time I see desserts. My Mom loved making them. When she worked they actually put her Carrot cake on the menu. I've not had any luck with making desserts. I tried making a dump cake and I even screwed that up. I've got instant vanilla pudding down but that's as far as it goes. I might try your Strawberry pie though. I LOVE strawberries in anything! That's for the recipes. 👍

When we tried eating our taco the shell fill apart on us. Mabe they was old when we bought them I don't know. We used them the next night. And we bought 2 boxes too. So in the next week or so we just made chicken nachos out of them. They are really good shells just not for tacos for us. But it didn't look like it broke apart on Steven. We may of just had bad luck buying them. But did tase great making them into nachos.

I’m a new subscriber and I have been binge watching your videos ever since I accidentally found you!😅 Don’t know if this will work for your strawberry pie crust, but maybe if you bake it at 350° for 10-12 minutes, or until it’s browned to your liking, it may not crumble as much. I have never made this particular type of crust, so I’m not real sure. I’m 71 years old and make pie crust with half butter and half crisco, ice water, and roll it out! I’ve never used oil and milk in a pie crust. I might try your way and see how it turns out. I enjoy your videos very much and will try some of your recipes. My husband is very picky, so we’ll see. 😂 May The Good Lord Bless y’all always. 🙏🏻❤

So now that I'm older and near retiring I have always wanted to learn how to cook meals like you do. My late husband was always the cook and baker (probably why I packed on 40 lbs after our first year of marriage?!) and since I've been single most of my life it was just easier to eat out. But now, I'm very interested in the fine art of cooking. Thanks for your channel and Happy New Year!

Hi Mandy, as usual, your recipes look delicious! I also love pat-in-the-pan pie crusts. I’ve been using this Marcia Adams recipe for years. You will see at the end she tells you how to adjust the recipe for a 10” dish. Hope this helps! Brenda phyllis-sather.com/how-are-you-going-to-celebrate-pi-day/ In the cookbook, she says that for a 10” pie pan, you use 2 c flour, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon Salt, 2/3 c oil and 3 Tablespoons of milk.

The only strawberry pies I've ever made were with store bought crusts that I drizzled a little sugar over before baking.....and this time of year there is a sauce in the produce section that is made for strawberry pies.....I slice up the fresh strawberries and leave some whole......put into the cooked pie shell.....pour over the sauce.....let stand and eat!!! I know it is probably not as good as yours....but I'm lazy! All the meals looked delish!!! Thanks so much, Mandy!! Tuesdays and Fridays are my favorite days!!!! :)
