A few weeks ago, I was wondering if corporate was tracking all the recipes and their respective ratings and if we'd ever find out which ones they'd select to publish in their 'Cooking with the Coskas' cookbook and then you came out with the Best Recipes of 2024 video. Awesome ideas, Cait! With the football season heating up for the College Football games and Super Bowl in another month or two, many of these recipes would be great for hosting as the heartier part of the meal! For steak tips, too, they could be used on kebabs with peppers and cheese! They also go well in soups and roasts. Especially with mixed vegetables. Thanks for sharing and for you and John's impeccable humor and fun!🤩

Hi Cait and John. All of your recipes are delicious looking! Watching you two interact is so much fun. I have been a subscriber to ButcherBox for several years now. I will never stop. I have always been so impressed with the meat products. Knowing I'm getting the healthiest meat for my family is priority number one. Secondly, the taste is superior to what you can get in the grocery store. I love the chuck roasts, filet mignon (the best), and I always get the ground beef, and chicken. My subscription allows me ground beef, wings, and a bacon for LIFE of the subscription. You cannot beat that ... those come free in every box ordered. I highly recommend them. It's obvious you care about what you feed your kids and hubby. Do it girlfriend!

Another great video! I've been looking for a good French Dip recipe so I'm anxious to make it this weekend. Also, the meatball recipe reminds me of a dish I make -- Cranberry Chicken -- uses whole cranberry sauce; French/Catalina dressing and a packet of onion soup. It's delicious. Just enjoy the interactions between you two. So much fun to watch!

I used Butcher Box for years! There are pros and cons. The cons for us were: at least once or twice a year our box would show up thawed. I live in the northeast so mainly in the summer. They were decent with credits or shipping a new box but it often required me taking photos of the thawed meat with a thermometer temping it. That ultimately was what made me cancel after 6 years. The pros: Good quality meat (however it was much better quality when we first started). It’s also super flexible with skipping deliveries and obviously having meat delivered to your door is a perk! I think it’s worth a try being how easy it is to cancel/skip. Be sure to google promos too. You often can get free items for the life of your subscription. I hope that helps!

Ok, here’s the deal…..I’ve bought the veggies in the bag, the same brand you got at Costco. I can’t remember how I cooked them but I didn’t like it. I’ll have to do it your way and see if they are better. The steak bites looked delicious, I’ll be trying that for sure. I was buying Butcher Box, but it was getting a little expensive for us. But the meat is great. I love how you think of things to make, can I be like you when I grow up?

I love pork! It’s so versatile, but I agree I don’t like it shredded except for carnitas tacos of course! I do a Mississippi pork that is awesome. A family favorite here is pork roasted with sauerkraut and potatoes, especially with country pork ribs. I love it in the oven but you can do it is the crockpot as well. It will be fall apart tender but don’t shred it. My lips are smacking now😆

I’ve gotten Butcher Box for a few years now and can’t rave enough about it! Try to join when they have the “ground beef for life” deal. It’s wonderful! I too do the every other month box but sometimes I even push it out to once a quarter. I choose my cuts and I’m never gonna choose a pack of bacon or hot dogs. I choose roasts and steaks and stuff like that. But I will add on their bacon to my box when they do a big bacon sale because the quality of it is amazing!

I made Garlic butter steak bites last night for dinner, we must be on the same wave length! I had butcher box for quite a while but unfortunately my boxes started coming in completely defrosted, so I then went with Good Chop and the first couple of boxes were great and then the same thing happened so now I am with Wild Pastures and they are aware of the issues I have had in the past, so, so far so good! My only complaint is they don’t have as many cuts as the other companies but they are cheaper!❤

It’s from Our Place! We LOVED them when we first got them but as time has gone on, I just don’t know if they’re worth the investment. We have followed the care instructions exactly and it seems some coating came off anyways and they just don’t cook the same anymore! 😭

Love the videos. But the thing that I love the best is when you actually say some of the ingredients that you’re putting in there and how much. Because somebody who is blind like myself can actually almost follow your recipe to a tea. And I’ve tried other recipes that you mention all the ingredients and it comes out good. But the ones where you don’t mention it so much I have to ask a friend to watch the video for me and give me the ingredients and everything so that I can actually put the recipe together. But I love your videos love you And John! cutting up!

Everything looks so good. I have a question when making your Alfredo sauce can you use the powder Parmesan cheese or does it have to be the shredded?

I have done it in the past but I feel like it makes it SUPER salty so I would just be extra careful with adding salt to that! And definitely make sure the butter is unsalted. Shredded would be best but in a pinch, the powdered one definitely does the job! 😍🥰
