I love my chopper too. It's the only way I'll dice onions lol 😁. The chopper works great for making home fries too because it gets the potatoes all cut into the perfect size of little cubes.

Thank you! I was a really picky eater as a child so I've worked really hard exposing them to all kinds of foods. I don't want them to be picky like I was.

I make totchos for my family. I cook the tator tots in the air fryer to get the crunch. Then put those on a cookie sheet and layer either beef or shredded chicken (cooked of course) and then beans cheese and put under the broiler. Then top with whatever everyone wants. I usually add sour cream, olives, jalapenos, and salsa. So good and the tots stay crunchy!

For tater tot casserole we make like a chili pie style. 1.5lb ground beef browned and drained. All your favorite chili stuff, we do chopped onions and Bell peppers and a can of diced tomatoes, a pack of chili seasoning and enough water to get a sloppy joe consistency. Pour that into the bottom of the dish, cover with shredded cheese and then top with the tots. I bake it according to the tots package because we like them a little crispy.

When I made the pizza pasta, I actually added sour cream and cheese and mixed it up with the meat and pasta. Then I added more cheese on top and pepperoni. It made it like a lasagna texture so it stayed together and thick and gooey throughout. So good!

For any type of tator tot casserole I bake I put the meat mixture on bottom & tator tots on top. If I don't they do tend to get soggy. The last 5 mins I add cheese of choice. I've got to make this cheese crusted chicken. L👀ks SOOOOO good!!

For tater tot casserole I made one that "hamburger". Cook the hamburger like normal then add cheddar cheese soup and real bacon bits mix it all together put that in casserole dish,add tater tots then cheese you like on top. Once its cook and plated you can out pickles on top

Great looking dinners. I found the last time I cooked something like a sauce in the crockpot, that if you put a kitchen towel over the pot then put lid on, it will help catch the extra water that drips from the lid so it doesn't help make extra liquid in it. The sauce looked really good though :) Thanks so much for sharing.

Looks great. Look on Pinterest for Alice Jo’s spaghetti sauce. It’s a Paula Deen recipe. Once I found it that’s the only sauce I use now. Sooo good!!

Try cooking the tots first then adding it to the casserole, that way their pre-baked and can get crunchy!

I'm not super strict with the budget, but I try to keep it around $500/month for all groceries. This includes food & non food.
