That soup looks so good and the weather last week is just the right temp for it.

I’m so excited that you now have a pressure cooker! It takes awhile to adjust your recipes but totally worth it! For some great recipes and tips Pressureluck is awesome!

Love your videos good work as always. Your kids are so adorable. A tip about the rice about being sticky if you saute the rice in a little oil until it kinda changes color and then add your seasonings and chicken bullion it will not be sticky. This is how I always do my rice and my family loves it. I'm the only one that they let make rice.

Try sautéing the rice in a little oil before cooking. It adds flavor and keeps it from being too sticky.

I was going to suggest rinsing your rice first and then sauteeing in a little oil to prevent the rice from being sticky or soggy, but I see someone already suggested it. It really does work. Blessings from Georgia. ❤

I would try washing the rice before cooking and adding a little more water to the cook process. The excess starch is likely what made the rice sticky. I always wash my rice, but I find especially when adding other ingredients to white rice, it’s particularly important to get the starch off and ensure the water is spot on since the rice is absorbing the moisture from everything you put in the pot.

you should try the Better than Bouillon brand chicken and beef. It is REALLY! great stuff. Gravy is the best ever with the beef. there is also vegetable and garlic flavors but I dont care for the ham except in beans.

I have been craving spaghetti!! No one else likes it but me....that chicken noodle soup 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 looks amazing! I have an instant pot but it absolutely terrifies me!!! The sound omg! Sounds like a plane falling from the sky to me...i wanna make that soup so ill have to be brave! 😂
@tayelmore5 жыл бұрын
I was terrified to use it too. I watched a video that said to do a water test (just run it for 3 min with water) so you get used to the sounds it makes. If I hadn't done that I probably would have freaked out when it started making noises 🤣
@SallySkellington845 жыл бұрын
@@tayelmore 😂😂😂 i didn't do that and definitely needed to first...jumped in making crab legs and almost giving myself heart failure! Maybe i can do the water test and try to get myself used to the sound...
@tayelmore5 жыл бұрын
@@SallySkellington84 I'd definitely suggest it. It made me so much more comfortable, and just remember these pressure cookers are way safer than the stovetop ones people used to use. It's very rare for something to actually go wrong ☺

All of the meals look so good! The chicken noodle soup makes me want to adapt the Philly Cheesesteak Soup, I have on my meal plan, to the IP. I saw the recipe on Mom’s Messy Kitchen (she did it in the crockpot). I also really want to try the two ingredient dough - especially since you said it’s kind of like a sourdough flavor wise. I’ve had my Instant Pot for a while now, I never use the keep warm feature. I always shut it off. I am in an IP group on FB, before I used it I lurked in there - that’s where I learned to turn it off, other’s trial and error. I love my pressure cooker. It’s one of my favorites along with my air fryer.

Try sauteing the rice in a little oil before adding the water. Then turn off the rice otherwise it will continue to steam and get soggy if left on warm. Hope this helps.

This makes me want to get my electric pressure cooker out. I love to cook in the fall and winter in it. Roast and things like that are really good in pressure cooker. Everything you made looked so so good. I have never made rice in the electric pressure cooker. I’m intimated. I just know it will not turn out good. Have a great week!! ♥️
