I have been making Alice spring chicken for years! It’s a family favorite. I use to have to make it 2-3 times a month. I’ll make the sauce a day ahead, marinate the chicken in a bit of it overnight and then sear it in the bacon grease. Amazing.

My family loves cabbage soup. I've never tried it with leeks. Can't wait to try them. Usually when I make mine I add about a teaspoon of sugar and about 2 tblspoons of just regular old mustard. Sometimes we will have just fried onion, cabbage and sausage with the same seasonings including the mustard and sugar and just serve next to white rice. My family loves this one!! My mom made green beans almost like yours. The only difference is that she would use milk and then put put cheese on top. I grew up on a dairy farm farm so my mom used what we had. And it was delicious ❤

I saved this to watch while I make dinner today. I just love your videos. Made your brown rice the other day. I sautéed some minced garlic and onions in olive oil and stirred my rice around in it and then put everything in the oven. It was delicious! Also I wanted more than a cup so I used 1.5 cups. Great as leftovers too! I cooked it with your chicken fried steak recipe. You rock.

Will be making the out back chicken. And yes I sear all my meat. I would have seared the cubed chicken before I put it on the shredded potatoes. Then tossed in Franks. Just gives the meat so much more flavor.

Wonderful dinner ideas!! You can also dip a metal measuring cup in boiling water and the honey will completely slip out...same principle as putting a spoon in hot tea and then the honey slips off the spoon🤷🏼‍♀️. Anyway thanks for sharing great recipes!!💓

Super late comment, but I have made the Alice Springs Chicken multiple times since watching your video and my husband, who's one of those "What do I want for dinner? Oh, whatever you want" types Actually Requests This. It's one of our favorites. I would never have ordered it at Outback because we eat out so rarely that if I'm at Outback, I'm ordering a steak!
