Just use whatever you like on a pizza pie and make it your own :) They are so easy and quick, and I'm so happy to hear that your kids enjoyed that! I never tried lentils until about 2 or 3 years ago and have only bought the brown or green ones (not the "fancy" french green ones, just plain ones here) and the red ones. We shared a video a while back on ideas for using the brown and red ones (the red ones I mostly use in soups as they tend to bread down and disappear more, but give the soup a nice body). I know it takes a while to bounce back, but we continue to pray for them and their health. Girl, you sound like me - there are so many foods that one of us doesn't eat (usually me because I'm pretty picky!), so we do a lot of compromising. Which is ok, maybe the next time you guys grill a lot of meat for Ray or you make a big pan or pot of something he likes, then make yourself a small thing of pasta salad, just a 1/2 cup of pasta, and make it just for you to enjoy! That's what I do, I try to work it out so Tim has enough of "his" food before I make something just for "me". Life is all about balance and compromise, LOL!! Loved the fireworks. I did not see any others this year. Our local ones they did not do this year. I could have gone to Louisville but Mark worked so I did not go get in the traffic and congestion by myself. Plus Gretchen our 10.5 year old basset hound does not like the fireworks so I would not have left her alone anyway with all the neighbors doing fire crackers and such. She laid in the king size bed under the blanket and shook for several hours. I am glad you enjoyed your cookout. It looked like fun times. I cannot wait to make your brownies . They look delicious and are my favorite dessert. I plan to try Tim's moms ice cream recipe too. I have a new ice cream maker from Pampered Chef that I have not used yet. I got it as a hostess gift for having a party several months ago.

Have y’all tried the Frosty ice cream recipe? A quart of chocolate milk...small 8 oz tub cool whip...,and small can of sweetened condensed milk. Mix together and put in ice cream maker. So good😉❤️

We are so glad you are here, and hope that you will enjoy the content on our channel 💜 I have heard of that ice cream, but have never tried it. Growing up, my mom made one with chocolate milk and maybe the ingredients you listed, but it was probably not called a Frosty back then, LOL! I've tried through the years to make other kinds of ice cream (I like chocolate, strawberry, peach and things like butterfinger or stuff added in), but Tim is a total purist when it comes to homemade ice cream. He likes vanilla - and that's it! LOL! He likes to add toppings though, so that helps! Oh, and I've made a hot cocoa ice cream using those packages of Land O Lakes mini cocoa that they used to sell (not sure if they still sell them). We love our homemade ice cream around here!! I don't like baked beans, but I do love potato salad (as evidenced by the large amount that I spooned onto my plate)! I just don't like baked beans, but I make them for Tim because he loves them! I am partial to my potato salad though, and don't always love it out at bbq restaurants or at other places. Tim's mom taught me how to make the potato salad she makes, and we both love it! Hello my sweet friend! So good to be back. I hope you and Tim have been doing well. We have been sick for weeks. It's been horrible. We are blessed to not be in the hospital like many of our congregation were. We still have someone in critical condition in the hospital. Her name is Paula. Please pray for a miraculous healing and for her husband and family. Thanks so much. I enjoyed this video. What a great July 4th and fireworks show. The kids taking everyone's order was so sweet. @@LetsCookYall My husband took my son to ER in June and he tested positive for covid so we assume we had it as well but we did not get tested. The hospital does not do anything for you unless you have pneumonia and are admitted into the hospital. None of us ended up in the hospital. You have to be pretty sick to be admitted into the hospital, like close to death and unable to breath. Thank you for your prayers.

@@yvettebennett6170 - I remember that your son had it, but I thought you guys were all on the mend. I'm so sorry that you are all still so sick. Believe it or not, we know several people who have had the virus or the long lingering after effects, and they have been sent to the hospital by their doctor for an anti-body treatment, which is what it's been described to us as. They usually don't stay long, overnight at most, and almost all of them have made a huge turnaround after the antibody treatment. So I was wondering if any of you guys had had that treatment, because I think it would make a world of difference in you bouncing back and recovering. I guess the hospitals are different everywhere, because here, they are definitely doing those treatments. We continue to pray for you guys, and so many others, who are sick. Hope this week is a big turnaround week for you all and that you all feel much better soon. Take care of each other! Hugs ---Stacy

Everything looks yummy. Love the chickpea recipe! We gave up meat got lent and realized how much meat we are eating now. Trying to incorporate more meatless/ fish meals back into the rotation.

@Patricia G - Hi Patricia! Thanks so much for stopping by and watching, and for the great feedback! I feel the same way, but sadly, nothing I say or do seems to convince my carnivorous husband to try to cut back on meat. I would be eating a lot more fish and meatless meals if he was on board, but he's really happy eating meat, so we fall somewhere in the middle, and try to compromise. Have you tried many lentil dishes? We shared a "What Can I Make With" video on lentils, since I started trying to eat more of them in the last 2 years. Several are soups, so maybe not the best for the hot summer months, but I do love lentils. We strike a compromise by Tim grilling out meat that he loves, then with leftovers, he has a few meals with his favorite meats, and I can fix a meatless or lentil dish for me to have for a couple of meals. I really enjoyed the chickpea salad, and I hope you get a chance to try it, and jazz it up to fit your taste buds. Let me know how it goes!! @@LetsCookYall Yes! I love lentils, particularly Indian/Asian lentil dishes. I’ll have to try your lentil tacos. I will have to give the chickpea salad a try. I make a good chickpea red curry with coconut milk. I live in Los Angeles so it’s pretty easy to go meatless and/or have fish dishes, even when you eat out. I admit we order take out more than I care to admit. Luckily my partner and I are both pretty open to going meatless, though a burger every now and then doesn’t hurt, right Tim :) Thanks so much for replying. Have a wonderful day!

@Patricia G - ok, cool! We haven't ventured into the realm of Indian food or curries. It's just not something we have much of where we live, and the one time Tim had Indian food, he didn't like it at all, so I've never tried any recipes at home. I didn't realize you could do much with lentils in the Asian realm, so I'm very interested in hearing more about that! As you've probably gathered, I love asian inspired food and we both love tex-mex flavors, so we have those A LOT, LOL! Have a fantastic week!!
