Both the pie and pilaf look great. My cousin put pistachios and craisins in hers. I like sliced almonds (a little cheaper). Hope Steve is feeling better. Happy Epiphany!

Food looks wonderful. You are so good at explaining your process as you go along. The rice dish was interesting. I have Jasmine rice and all of the spices down in the pantry, so i think I'll give that a go. I'm glad Aimee is better, but now it's Steve's turn and with a fractured foot on top of that! You've got your hands full! Hope the in-laws don't get it. 🤢🤧😷 Take care as always! 🥰🐢💙

Aah Hailey so sorry to hear about Steve with his fractured foot & just unwell. Hope aimee is better now as well, blimey hope you've got your Florence nightingale uniform on nurse Hailey!! I've had a cold / cough on & off now since November, also cold sores on my lips, get rid of 1, another 1 bloody appears, nightmare ! Feel like mick jagger big lips !! Food looks so nice as alwats, o did pulled pork on onion gravy cottage pie yesterday had the pulled pork in freezer & just fancied a nice hot dinner. I've made some of your cheese & bacon scones this morning except without the bacon!! Just fancy something cheesy so weighed everything out the forgot I put the bacon in freezer the other day so just used some bacon salt in it. Not quite the same but never mind my fault they still smell rrally nice tho. Its a bummer isn't it when u have to hunt thro freezer I wanted black beans on Friday for fajitas I boujgt a bag of dried fre weeks ago & cooked them myself & portioned up. Bugger me right at the bottom.of the chest freezer , nightmare!!! Had to hunt to find them! Anyway Hailey hope your well take care of yourself. Any new recipes for us in 2025? That sweet chilli salmon , yum yum Im going to try that

@mummycookshomemade It only appeared yesterday and although he wants to go back to Nursery tomorrow, he has to wait until the spots scab over!! These viruses are all over the place, our local hospitals were stopping visitors unless they were under palliative care xx

@vivbradshaw8675 yea it's their way of curbing anymore outbreaks. Norovirus will be what they're worried about this time of yr, when I worked at scunny hospital, they had one case they shut down the ward and barriered it, so people Couldn't go in each other's rms etc xx

Touch wood my cough is going but I stop coughing for a day or two and then I bark and bark coughing Andy said he will get the cold nurse out to me but I've told him I'm ok love fran xxxxx

I would say most def, because it's a slow Cooker, rice cooker, boils, sautes , steams, and more. But maybe I'm biased lol xx
