@@ahgababy well basically a lot of people are mad because of the new group SuperM where Baek and Kai are members. It consists of them plus Mark and Taeyong from nct, Taemin from Shinee, Lucas and Ten From Wayv. No matter what they say, ALL of them will come back to their own groups, but I understand why are fans mad at SM entertainment - they don't think that Exo is being treated well, Kai lacks solo activities, Baek and Kai will not benefit at all because this group is made only to push NCT is the US, because SuperM will have American debut in October. SM is huge company and changes and priorities happen - too much artists imo and poor management. But how funny that almost everyone forgot Younique unit, the unit which was made to promote Exo (Kai and Luhan were there) and when the money was taken away from (mostly) Girls Generation's promotions to promote Exo. Exo is huge, but that doesn't give the right to people to treat and belittle other SM groups and to demand only their activities: it was Boa, TVXQ, Super Junior, Shinee, Girls Generation, Exo, and now NCT. Fans took it way too far when they attacked Baek and Kai on their personal IG, saying that they don't understand now could Baek and Kai accept this. We don't know the truth and never will, maybe they couldn't say no, maybe they wanted this - Baek wanted to work with Mark and Taemin in the past, now he has a chance. All in all, it's s whole mess.

Thank you for being a fellow Eris that is more understanding of the current situation Kai & Baekhyun are in! Even though I also get in my feelings about Exo promotions etc., I went through this same situation with Super Junior (my ult group) when Exo debuted. SM is just building stability for the brand in the future by pushing NCT so hard now. For them to remain on top, they need a top artist(s) in each generation, and with Exo heading to the military, they need to make sure NCT can consistently bring in revenue to sustain the company. Plus like you said it's not their first time with a supergroup, and I believe this one is even more powerful than SM the Performance. So, I hope fellow ExoL will support our boys in this endeavor, especially because it may shine even more light on Exo in the Western market!
