Good on you for keeping things that way! I love your honest reviews of outdoor kit. It helped me make my mind up about the Nightcat hammock, since everyone on youtube was bloody gushing about it and the only people who hightlighted the problems with that thing were you and Hardy Tempest. Yes Sir Alan, item description in a format of accuracy is only fair and right, one of the reasons I like watching your kit descriptions, and battle plans within your camping sites. Yes I have found lots of people on here who demonstrate their kits do seem to be under orders, so they receive more kit from their quartermasters store..😅 but in your case , your more precise, and don’t seem to be controlled by sales representatives, …..independent fire at will,….definitely the KZbin Field Marshal of camping , and pleasant to listen too….Brian

Hi Allan, glad you had a great holiday, photos looked amazing. All your reviews come across as honest and informative. You’ll never please everyone all the time. I’ve got the BAERskin hoodie, we got them over a year ago, they get worn most days when we are travelling and have really lasted well. Warmth factor is fantastic, drizzle proof but not waterproof, I carry my pacamac in the rear pocket and that works perfectly. Angie has one at the same time and she swears by it as it has a shite load of pockets for the dog walks 😊 Anyways hopefully get another camp in with you sooner rather than later. You're quite right about companies supplying kit as a publicity exercise. There's a good few KZbin reviews of these huge power stations which you can take camping to run mains equipment. The power stations cost one or two thousand - companies must like the targeted advertising. I don't!

@@johanvanbeek7138 Fine if you follow the chart. I just went by the hight and weight bit. Depends on your shape, I am slim build apart from my shoulders. If you are a bit heaver, I would go one size up on the jacket.

Hope you had a nice holiday. You go anywhere nice or was it just a break from the norm. You gonna do some hot tent camping this year? I thought about it, as someone gave me a winnerwell tent stove the other day. Just saving up for the tent. All the best👍🏾🇬🇧😉
