One time I was driving from Reno to Las Vegas and it was about 1am. As I’m driving, I see this bright green/white light appear like it just shot down to the middle of the sky about 2-3 miles away our where the mountains were, and it stayed there for a couple seconds and then it instantly shot across the sky and disappeared. I would imagine the government needs to have a place to develop and test extremely top-secret technology like stealth, drones, spy planes, and what have you, and Groom Lake happens to be the best place to do it. Frankly, it has to be somewhere, and I wouldn't exactly expect them to want to gleefully share their military secrets they're building and testing out there. It's a highly-sensitive military Air Force installation for a reason. The base was founded due to the government needing a place to test the U-2 spy plane and they kept it for the same type of things over the many decades. Lots of things need to remain secret, but we must admit that there are crafts from other solar systems visiting us just was we have sent crafts to all the Planets, and Moons in our solar system.
